The Premiership Cake Shop
Sidney the robin replied to BurntFaceMan's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Do you like a good old tart now and again😜i like a nice bit of Larde cake now and again do you like it.? -
A good top five in this league looks decent with Clegg who should hold his own at home and improve overall.
-
I am with you not to bothered this is PL to be honest as a product never worth 17 quid a meeting. But to see Jason everyweek will keep the crowd decent and maybe Rossiter can come up with a half decent side.
-
I am worried ER about Swindon but that Poole four is it that good? with Chris yes ) saying that without Chris these four plus could be hard to beat at home.
-
Doyle,Ellis,Morris, Nielsen,Bellego rumour two to go only rumour though.
-
With the format changed having weak reserves might not be so bad as you think every team i beieve will have a weakness in there team somewhere. Nielsen in a top five goodbye 2017 season over.
-
Nielsen in a top five if so no chance he is a reserve at best and for me there are loads i would pick above him.
-
Danny is like young Bailey at Scunny stick with them and this year they will improve.
-
To right Crazy even without a big hitter it is bloody hard to assemble a side you are completely happy with.
-
For us to be a force then Robin we need four riders close in ability after Doyley with weak reserves Stefan for me on his average is to high.Guessing dunno if it can be done Doyle Ellis Morris Musielak Toft/woryna Blackburn and another something of that ilk.
-
That side i would not mind what average would Anders Thomsen come on would he fit in as the sixth member.? Nielsen in top five are you sure☹️️
-
Dudek starting out on his debut GP series wont be riding here in March in this Mickey mouse league.
-
That average of Newman is a JOKE and we all know it does Ellis have to be a heat leader? Doyle/Morris to be above him and surely we have another signing who will score heavier than him i hope so.
-
Even with Newman at reserve with another 2 poiinter if Poole dont get Hampel they are still not that strong. What average did AJ come back on 10.05.?will Hampel comeback on the same average as Lindback.? he shouldnt do.
-
What a pathetic rule you build a team say with 5.5 left and you could not have Blackburn/Hume on 2. point averages this sport shoots itself in the foot everytime.
-
Is this sort of team still going to be 17/18 quid to watch surely not.
-
Did Bewley get an average? i think it was about 3.36. but before he got injured he had some high scores so could be higher.Hume and Blackburn should be 2 pointers not sure though.
-
If you have a really strong top five and get an improver on a 2 point average it can be done.Say a Bewley,Blackburn,Hume, can mix it with the likes of Morris,Clegg,Nielsen,Jacobs,Morley, (ect). With the old format back having two low scoring reserves might not be as terminal as you think.
-
Going back over the years it has never bothered me the winning part,Swindon i think in that time have come bottom three or four times. As long as i see half decent racing i am happy what ever happened to a team having nearly the same team for two or three years. Now the sport is ruled by averages the sport needs to go back to trying to produce a good night out and from what i saw last year Belle Vue provided that.
-
Could Pieszczek come into the equation.?
-
When you look at Ellis/Newman's average for me Ellis looks good value,Newman for me is not 1/5 rider can maybe cope at Poole but away tracks no even though i will say he has improved as a rider.
-
Interesting yes Orion you are entitled to your opinion and yes you could be right .
-
What a poor post do you believe Newman is a better rider than Ellis? ask the forum what would the vote be or do you always find a reason to snipe at Rossiter's decision's. ER i respect your opinion bigtime sure Poole are a great club but so are Swindon .Ellis improved last year because he worked hard and has talent this year he can go up the ladder again.
-
What surprised me last year was that he coped brilliantly in the top 5 along with S.Worrall/Garrity.He is a good gater smooth and this year it is alot weaker Poole's loss Swindon's gain. Woryna to follow in his gramp's footseps at Poole.??

Lisa surely you havent got blue tinted glasses!!! have a look at the international meetings record. Why dont you look at it another way both are talented lads see what happens in the future.
