yep caught red handed never been on a pre arranged trip in me life and not starting now have a lot of family in oz so might do a trip down there once in me lifetime and pop over to see spudway gp

all booked up on the speedway star trip. 10 of us going.

sgp practice is like watching paint dry and pointless. practice should mean something. use it for timeing riders and gate positions in gp. or top eigth from last gp go to next round, the rest then are joined by say the best on form 6 riders in practice on friday and the quickest go into sat gp. this was talked about a few years back with the use of transponders. so much info from these can be used for tv and spice up the programme and pratice. bsi could tthen sell tickets for practice and screen it as other sports do on the friday as build up to gp.

they are transponders for timing each rider. will be used instead of the stop watch and the silly red line used to split two riders at end of close race. was looked into 2 years ago but put off because of cost. very good idea and has lots of plus points. will be used maybe for friday quali or gate pick in future.

not found anyone in oz that wants to lose a load cash vegas is the best place to hold a gp. got everything, weather-stadium and lots to do. look at the supercross there next weekend, will be packed out and million dollors to winner of all races.

so whats the racing going to be like ? most riders rusty and no meetings to set equipment up.

think it will happen.heard the four fans from the uk have booked there tickets:P anyone rideing in the uk will most prob miss there press and practice for uk club.also what will the racing be like? none of the riders would of had any meetings at all so will be bit rusty and no time to set bikes up. aus riders wont want to come over to sort things then head back down under again so quickly i would of thought. does sgp really need nz ? i dont think so but thats just my take on it. do the riders want to go ? wrong place, wrong time of year then again suppose it is better than a forth or fifth gp in poland. just heard holta has taken out nz passport so they have a rider in the gp

this will be a massive shot in the foot for bsi. wont may money and wont get that many fans going. wrong time as econimic climate is crap all round the world.

i have no animosity towards you and quite like some of your views on english speedway. thats not to say i agree with all your views. the comment i made was taking the -iss out of the bsi system in place. bring it into the modern day with maybe a lcd screen, four girls with a board and riders hanging round give me a break. been the same to many years now. sgp was getting boring but 2010 was good but 2011 not as good as last year. needs new ideas on many front.

see holder normal moaning aussie like crump and adams type, he rides hard but does not like it back. thought racing good and meeting good apart from rising mix up with his felt tip and cloured boards at end i can see how all that high tec stuff can go wrong

yes good coverage in these places as its popular. but even in poland its on its way down as the country gets more modern with more to do. the danes are just boring speedway is not popular in the uk and its nothing to do with riders. people have moved on, theres more to do and young kids are not interested. speedway will never be a large main stream sport in the uk ever again.

yep a great place to have a national speedway stadium with no roof

no roof and always rains in manchester so better book plenty of days in the hotel for the rain off i for one wouldnt go there even if it didnt rain. dont like the place.

cardiff is better beacause of the roof, how close the shops and hotels are. very easy get about and no rain off. however i think wembley is nicer as its new and more modern and better laid out. cardiff sound system is rubbish now and things like the boxes need doing up as bit worn. in general place wants a bit of a tart up. still best place for gp though.

cardiff is the only place in the uk i would go to for a g.p. if it moves i shall watch it on the tv.

the boxs are about 3 or 3.6 grand i think. drinks are extra depending on what you like. only avail to sponsors,riders and companies i think and not that many of them. food and service good but quite dear i think.

he has pretty much always been this way. cant stand the bloke meself. hope he retires soon

should be good much better than last year. will put me feet up and sing along with a glass a wine while i look at the programme b4 the main event starts.

whys that then ? just as we sponsor him makes no differance. np was in the wrong as he nearly always is. if i thought is was harris fault i would of said so. you ever ridden a bike of anytype ? doudt it harris should of stayed in, i have more to loose as he gets a bonus if on the rostrum so maybe i should of been cheering when he went out. saved a bit of cash

yep agree, dont think they should have him again, pearson annoys me everytime he opens his mouth. what a bore keith, sam. tatum, pearson, charlie, chris get rid. thought gp was pretty poor too.

you are right matey, the problem is what is put on is normally not good. i spoke to them recently about this and they know its not good. trouble is top acts want a lot of cash and i couldnt believe all the extras they wanted, do they put the ticket cost up a few pounds to pay for it but will the fans then moan as dear to get in. i dont mind 5 quid extra for summit really good but most will say not paying that think its a no win situation.

dont agree track preperation is hit and miss.yes it can be affected by the weather but a good race track can be made with the right materials and the will to do it.i spent a long ride a few years back with ole from poznan to bydgosh and he believes slick tracks make good racing so make ya own mind up on that one why cant a team team up early. only reason i see is money. this is a gp so why not invest in this and the future. also why is tony not there say from the tuesday if this is a problem? racing has always been poor here but that was bad and anyone saying it wasnt needs glasses i believe. dont think greg would of complained if it was tarmac as he won
