so I presume you think if NKI makes a return to Kings Lynn his average should be increased by 1.2

Everyone moans about speedways rules and regulations so please let’s just use real averages from now on and get on with it.

King's Lynn Stars 2017Clive Ward replied to Daniel Smith's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League The double header v Wolves is going ahead next week with a 7.30 start should be a great night of speedway. Notice some people on Facebook are moaning about the possible £25 entrance fee they feel it should still be £17 for both meetings. Just proves you can't keep some people happy.

Leicester Lions V Kings Lynn Stars 24 Jul 2017Clive Ward replied to Robbobee's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League Sorry but even if there is things going on that we don't know about it doesn't excuse him for not giving 100 per cent when he's on track.

Leicester Lions V Kings Lynn Stars 24 Jul 2017Clive Ward replied to Robbobee's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League Was at the meeting and like you say Jorgenson, Palm-Toft and Huckenbeck were superb a credit to the Kings Lynn race jacket. Aanio who's only got 1 point also raced his socks off his effort didn't reflect his score. Simon Lambert just can't ride a tight track which leaves me with just our supposedly No1. Well after an unsatisfactory start to heat 1 Batch rides straight back into the pits I knew he would be excluded and I'm pretty sure he would have known himself and the after gating in his second ride he wins relatively easy but in his third and fourth rides where he didn't gate he just didn't try. Don't think the club will tolerate this much longer, well I hope not anyway.

King's Lynn V Rye House 19/07/17Clive Ward replied to tellboy's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League yes agree with you totally what you have said in this post but what you said in the post that I replied to I thought that you was totally wrong. I was standing in my conservatory at 4.00 am watching and listening to the terrential rain that was falling thinking that there was no way that that nights meeting was going ahead. Being a farmer you know how the ground reacts to x amounts of rain falling on it and it was just my opinion that in Wednesday's meeting Buster got his decision spot on.

King's Lynn Stars 2017Clive Ward replied to Daniel Smith's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League Some great ideas there although I would like to see both teams have a separate 15min practise would also be some entertainment/interest for the supporter who arrives early. Certified Injuries.. I would change the 3/5 days to the rider has to have 2 full days off after the night of the injury as we know speedway riders do seem to recover quicker than the normal sportsperson. I won't hold my breath in anticipation of any of your ideas being implemented in the near future but I for one liked what you had to say.

King's Lynn V Rye House 19/07/17Clive Ward replied to tellboy's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League You are obviously not a farmer then because any farmer in the Kings Lynn area would have told you the meeting would definitely not go ahead with the amount of water that dropped out of the sky Tuesday night/Wed morning. Like DWP said Buster would have been wrong whatever he did to some people.

Can remember Danny King suffering from concussion, think it was the beginning of last season and he was forced to sit out for 9 days not sure if this is still the case. If it is he will miss 1st round of the World Cup at Kings Lynn if selected.

Kings Lynn Stars Vs Leicester 10/05/17Clive Ward replied to g13webb's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League I always find that when we have a good win I go home reasonably happy even if when you look back the racing wasn't brilliant, it's when you lose like in the Belle Vue meeting and you only saw one legit pass all night it's then when the trouble starts

King's Lynn Stars 2017Clive Ward replied to Daniel Smith's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League Found it very interesting reading the last four pages of this thread as to the many ideas of improving the team. Many people seem to think that we should be replacing Josh and I'm afraid im in agreement with them even though I was one of those at the start of the season that said we should give him a chance. The only way the team can support a 2pointer is if you have a big hitter at number 1 which we are supposed to have so imo it's not Josh's fault he needs to be replaced its Chris Holders. Trouble is to replace Josh we also have to replace somebody else but does anybody else deserve to be bombed out at this early stage, personally I say no except for Chris but will he come good or can the club afford to get rid of him. Somebody suggested bringing in Ritchie Worrall and another rider with an average around 6/7 which if the club did make some changes this would be the way I would prefer them to go but if no changes were made I could also live with this and hope Chris comes good.

Well done to Lewis Rose on qualifying for the British Final but does anybody know why Lambert didn't show.

King's Lynn Stars 2017Clive Ward replied to Daniel Smith's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League Yes I'm sure the fans will give him time to bed in and come the end of the season I'm pretty sure that he will be in the top three of the league averages which I don't think you can expect any more from your number 1. I see Niels only scored 7 as well for Gorzow but with the standard of riders in that meeting 7 was probably a half tidy score.
