Isn’t it sad that we have to ask that question Sid? I remember the mid to late seventies when almost every away match there was at least one coach. But then again that was the days when two or three double decker buses used to ferry home fans in to Blunsdon every Saturday night!
Yes used to get the Cavy Square green Bristol omnibus. Had to be on there before second half final otherwise it was gone.Train to Edinburgh early 80s the Mad Wellie Express was full with 500 fans. Be lucky to get minibus full now.

Cookie rarely goes well at The Abbey but did ok last night. Crowd didn't look to be much over 1000, should be lot more there for the final. Don't like this Twitter poll nonsense.
-
That was a total rout, apart from a brilliant Cookie move from third to first in one heat, Lynn were blown away. Immaculate Doyley max, and very good from the reserves. Jensen is the signing of the season. One of the lowest crowds I've seen at The Abbey. Belle Vue in the final!

Pity Worky closed after that magnificent treble. Used to love the speedway, especially the Fours, when I lived up there 2004/5, Stoney, Steady, Wrighty, etc., Mystic Mel, Gromet the Comet, some real characters at DP. But with hundreds losing interest since then couldn't afford to keep running.

Awful result. Starting to think that we aren't as good as I thought.
We are very good at home.

Shock result. Eight up then thrown away in second half. Wells superb for Boro.Reserves and Ellis and Batch struggled. Couldn't expect more from Bellego.

Translation please?! The German minority in Northern Schleswig?

Tough encounter for the Robins against the table toppers. Bloody silly fixtures, Vue ridden 7 home matches, Lynn 1. Will go 51-39 for Swindon.
