MCC have a long lease with MCFC to lease the Etihad Stadium. That is a long term income stream of about £3m a year which MCC have used to fund a range of sporting projects. The relationship between MCC and MCFCs Middle East owners is a mutually beneficial one. One party wants investment, the other wants to invest.
