  12. Meeting officially abandoned The Hammers take 10 points to Derwent Park tomorrow Thoughts?
  13. I do find it fitting that Keith Denham presented the trophy tonight. For a man who put countless time and even more money into the club, he does deserve some recognition even after a few controversial decisions in his time. Raising one to the whole of Workington Speedway as well as someone who couldn't be there to witness such a special moment, Mr Ian Thomas. Wish you luck in your other 2 Finals against the Lakeside Hammers. Should be a cracking 3 legs and hoping the crowds will be similar if not higher! I will post my full review of the meeting sometime tomorrow.
  14. Whoever played "Walking On Sunshine" I'm afraid the ritual to stop the rain didn't work, even if Katrina and The Waves did sing their heart out
  15. Can't see Kyle leaving his hometown club as early as 1 season. He's progressed more for Workington rather than Belle Vue this season - most likely because this is his real home and not to mention he tends to get overshadowed by Dan Bewley (No disrespect, it has given Kyle something to work for in a way). If he does go to Glasgow, I can only see it being if they are either in a different league to Workington or if Workington cease to run next season (Hoping the latter is untrue)
  16. Well unless they were going to be alright with him wanting to ride heat 15 clockwise I think so
  17. Wolbert is one of the riders who can be one of the best to watch or flop and then go backwards rather quickly during the night. But in saying that, having some time away from UK Speedway could've done him some good and could be worth a punt
  18. Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think JP, Summers, Newman, Bjerre, NBJ or even Richie ride in Poland (Or an a regular basis at least)
  19. Why don't we adapt rider grading into UK?? A, B, C and D Div 1 - 2 A's, 3B's, 1C and 1D Div 2 - 0 A's, 2 B's, 3 C's and 2D grade riders I would sit here and grade every rider but the amount I would have to do, it'd be press and practice 2019 when I'm done - for example, A - Niels Kristian Iversen, Leon Madsen, Matej Zagar, Max Fricke B - Nicolai Klindt, Ricky Wells, Danny King, Richard Lawson C - David Howe, Stefan Nielsen, Todd Kurtz, Nike Lunna D - Max Clegg, Danny Ayres, Adam Roynon, Drew Kemp Major Competitions Div 1 - Pairs, KOC, League Trophy Div 2 - Pairs, Fours, KOC, League Trophy Teams Div 1 - All Premiership clubs and any other teams willing to progress up into the league Div 2 - Remaining clubs from the Championship and National League (Any clubs not willing to partake can be situated into a development league programme) League format The same format for both leagues - top 4 qualify and the remaining teams battle it out for the returning Young Shield styled format - Doing this will make all teams' seasons last longer - As this is a secondary competition, teams can opt to pull out from this trophy
