The fall, as he fell off by himself. and did not get his bike off the track, he didnt even try to ,just stood up and parked it in the middle of the track. so he was the cause of the race being stopped.Nothing was said about the kicking incident.

Same as Crazysue. Proud to be british and supported the team all the way, But you cant take away the fact that hans rode really well tonight and deserved his win, no matter what he has done previously, that was then and this is now, i would certainly have liked it to be a british rider that had won it but that was not to be, felt so sorry for Lee when his bike packed up on the start line ,could of almost cried he had done so well tonight. Better luck next time Lee.

Middlo, congrats to you and all of the six riders, they put in a brilliant performance, in both their meetings ,they may have got the Silver instead of Gold, but to me and most of the british fans, they are the Winners,thanks for Two Great meetings lads,dont let it get you down you should hold your heads up for the performances that you all put in,as far as i am concerned you are all tops, and you WILL get it next year.

Hans was definately out of order tonight, yes the outcome probably would have been the same but that is no excuse for what hans done tonight , i like the danes, well most of them ,i like nicki pedersen,although i dont always agree with some of his riding habits ,but he does seem to have got a lot better lately, my Grandfather was danish,so at times i do support the danes ,but not when Great Britain are riding against them, i was born in britain and that is who i support, if they had not got through to the finally then i would have been supporting the danes, well done to sweden,also team GB all the lads rode brilliantly,and gave it there all, i am still proud to be british after their performance tonight. As for Hans the quarter part of Danish in me is ashamed of what he done and my grandad and father would have been too.

Team GB Denmark Sweden Poland Iam totally gutted my cable and internet went down on thursday because of the storm ,it has only just come back on ,so i missed the meeting on thursday night i normally tape it as well, i set the recorder to tape it at ten the next day whilst i was at work ,but of course it still was not on so all i got is a load of snow,so frustrating whe things like this happen ,every one keeps saying it was a really good meeting,but of course no one had taped it as they were watching it ,am so anoyed about not being able to see it,but what can you do, (b---dy weather, and cable it took them nearly forty eight hours to get it back on.)

Totally agree, great meeting and what a GREAT result, WELL DONE to all the team, hope you can do it again on saturday. (And yes it does make you proud to be British.)

On BBC Teletext its says, Team GB boss Neil Middleditch has named his team for the pre-world cup test match against Denmark on 19th July. Scott Nicholls will captain a side consisting of himself, Mark Loram, Lee Richardson, David Norris, Stuart Robson, David Howe and Chris Neath.

Jeffster, i know what you are saying, and some people do start to loose their hair at an early age , my daughters boyfriend is only 22 and his hair is already starting to go thin so he has also shaved it all off ,but i saw tony at stonleigh and his hair looked fine then it just seems to have got very sparce very quickly thats all i am saying ,i personally hope he is very healthy,and that health is not the reason for his hair loss.

Maybe he has family troubles, maybe his health isnt all that great did anyone notice how much hair he has lost on top, it seems to have gone rather rapidly IMO, so could there be a health issue here ?

Did anyone else notice that Crumpy got up ,walking around with his arms in the air in one of his temper tantrums (we all know he has them as well), then when the race was stopped he went down on the ground and then got up with a limp that wasnt there before.

Dont really think it will make much difference to Simon missing the practise, as all the riders always say the track is different on race day than it was on practise, at least he will be riding friday so that should keep him in practise, hope he does well on saturday ,think he is a great lad and rider.Would just like to wish him all the best for saturday,hope you have a good meeting Simon, and just enjoy your day and the experience.
