  1. Why is R/R the only option for Dan? I was under the impression that as he is in the main body of the team, a guest is allowed but I'm forever trying to get my head around the rule book so would appreciate you explaining why this doesn't apply in this case. As the saying goes, you learn something new every day!!!
  2. Yes Elmo. That's what the gaffer announced, much to my surprise!
  3. Using r/r for Dan could be too much of a gamble.. On current averages I think only Kyle could take 1 of his rides and Zaine & whoever replaces Joe sharing the remaining 3. Think I'd consider Kasper Andersen for Dan. Berwick don't appear to be riding next Friday. Scored a shed load for Berwick at Redcar (14 points). With Dan at 5.40 and Kasper at 5.39 looks like he'd be a good fit.
  4. On a lighter note, I hope that Ryan can stay on his bike when gardening tonight, unlike his exploits at Scunny last night!!!! He got nil points from me for artistic impression! W7, have a quiet word with him!!!
  5. And in the absence of any official notification, for those of you planning to go to Glasgow on Sunday 19th, the start time has been put back to 18.00hrs instead of the 15.00hrs first advised.
  6. Where abouts in the city centre will you be based? I might be able to pass that way on the way to the track dependent on where you are
  7. Where abouts in the city centre will you be based? I might be able to pass that way on the way to the track dependent on where you are.
  8. Didn't the gaffer mention one of the Worralls in his post match interview on Saturday? Couldn't hear the p.a. too well.
  9. They have a "shelf life" of a number of years as has been previously explained, and once that period is reached, they have to go, hence why Leicester replaced their red and yellow one's.
  10. If you were out there racing and smacked an old panel at 60 m.p.h. as opposed to a newer more durable panel, you might change your opinion!
  11. So, with an upcoming strengthened Plymouth against a weakened Lions tomorrow, Leicester losing 7 league points following the demise of Eastbourne and Nick Morris out for 3 crucial matches, it's not been the best of weeks for The Lions. Oh well....they say things always come in threes! Sure that the team will rise to the challenge however!
  12. Wouldn't have thought so after only scoring 6 round Beaumont Park earlier in the month.
  13. With Nick Morris out with concussion for the next 9 days, Leicester's job next Saturday just got that bit harder. Sure that Stuart will have a tasty guest within his sites. In the gaffer we trust!
  14. Think Leicester will stick with what they've got but Lawson to Plymouth is a very definite maybe!
  15. He's ben unlucky with injuries but scored 10 at Birmingham and 12 at Plymouth this week so appears to be coming good at the business end of the season.
  16. Unless changes were already made in readiness for Eastbourne's announcement!
  17. In the hands of Plymouth and the B.S.P.L. to sanction any change and only then, can official announcements can be made.
  18. I did say that Glasgow may have a surprise or two lined up! Watch this space folks!
  19. With the demise of Eastbourne, there's lots of speculation and rumours on various threads that Plymouth are about to get the WD50 out on the revolving door and make a change in readiness for their visit on Saturday. Interesting times ahead me thinks.
  20. I'm sure that someone from Eastbourne will be putting pen to paper at Glasgow to fill Ulrich Ostergaard's place for starters.
  21. With the demise of Eastbourne, I'm sure that Glasgow have a surprise or two lined up!
  22. We'll know by then whether or not Glasgow have made a new signing. The cut off deadline is looming closer and it's all very quiet from North of the border.
  23. Headed to Glasgow on Friday for the Leicester match and consulted 4 different weather apps. 3 said wall to wall rain and 1 said 45% chance at 4.00 p.m. then clearing up. Based on that info., the decision to call it off would appear to have been the right one. As it turned out, it wasn't, although I understand that there was heavy rain about 5 miles away from the track. Same yesterday at Leicester; the weather seems to be more localised and it's very much the luck of the draw as to whether or not the predicted rain will actually fall on the track or 10 minutes away down the road. Given riders expenses etc. getting to a meeting, there comes a time when a promotion has to make a decision. Your damned if you do, and damned if you don't.
