Well if we can’t get a heat advantage there we might as well pack up and go home -

Interesting track this evening -
Either that or our trusty secret weapon Troy Batchelor! Or I wonder what Robert Miskowiak is up to these days!
-
Time for changes or do we just have to suck it up and see what is happening next year? I feel Riss has to go as his lack of confidence and fitness is a risk to other riders. Shutting off as soon as anyone gets close
-
Riss made a gate, saw and opposition rider and completely shut off happy to cruise in for another last. He clearly doesn’t feel safe on the bike to race and I appreciate he needs to earn a living but he’s selfishly letting the team down and potentially putting riders at risk. Needs to take the season off and focus on recovery.
-
Riss really struggling tonight looks way off the pace and a shadow of himself. Must be tough on the finances but for his well-being and safety it may be best he takes an extended break.
-
Seems like Erik is still really struggling with his health which is a worry. Hopefully he is on the mend soon and hasn’t rushed back too quick https://www.erikriss.com/2023/06/14/issue-8-back-in-business/?fbclid=IwAR24EZtnuySq-ntpYZmtrRuwgQWYyev2_mZdwDOaUcH7QKsudxxqiM9Hxno_aem_th_AdfaEgqqjrwomXbZ3cZ26ij3vgr_C0a-5lBieD_HhETLESUxwXytRBq8GcwA0vGZsJg

Witches v Tiger's 12th June
SuffolkWitch replied to Badge's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Great advert to speedway tonight. Bob done a superb job with the track too considering the extreme heat also. Dirt on the track suits our riders. All the lads did their bit and Rew really showing his development with some smart moves to overtake and more importantly maintain positions. King back on form after a very questionable 2nd ride -
I think it’s time Joe is dropped. Not just for the team but it cannot be good for his confidence and development being thrown so far out of his depth. we need a RS change and time to drop King. Is Pickering worth a punt and able to fit in the team? Riding with Doyle may help him recapture his form from last year.
-
Unless my mind is playing tricks on me! I believe It was 4 meaning he would be at reserve
-
Has Rew’s average gone up to 5? Bit of a blow if it has?
-
Would be over the moon with Brennan at Foxhall and another good up and comer on a bargain average from abroad maybe. Would be great for Brennans development from a GB point of view working with Doyle and learning a more technical track
-
I have a lot of time for Rory but when I saw this news my first thought was “please don’t Ipswich”. Not sure what his average would be but can’t see it being one he would improve on after time out of the sport.
-
This will make or break the season and will inevitably be whether people bother to go to the meetings or not. Not bringing in young talent and refreshing the team by hiring the same old faces would be an insult to fans
-
Not sure if this would work average wise but I’d take something along the lines of. - Doyle - Batch - Ellis - Riss - Basso?? - Gust - Hume Not a huge Batch fan but his average is a steal for a 2nd string as opposed to heat leader. The number 5 would depend on what average we had left to play with. Whether the season is a success or not will depend solely on someone to back Doyle up and a young euro star on a low average that will significantly up their average.
-
Francis Gust is someone I’d be really intrigued to see in witches colours next season. Looks a fun hard working young rider. I certainly wouldn’t mind taking Pickering from our friends north of the great divide
