  1. Only Ricky Wells could have travelled home last night pleased with his form last night. Thorsell was in the mix but got beaten up a couple of times. I expected more from the TM to be honest, I thought the wide open spaces would have suited him but he did remind me of Steady a bit, locking up too much. Lewis Blackbird is the shadow of last season, I know he's had a few injuries but his gating is letting him down badly, last season he was a demon trapper. 'Go slow' Freddie was a massive disappointment along with PK. A really positive meeting from all the Robins last night, seeing Zengi go through the card was good to see, special mention to Lewis Rose, who looked a lot more on the pace, even when behind he never gave up, chasing young master bates and getting him on the line in 14.
  2. for me it's DW and another DU rider which means KH is the sacrificial lamb in this... unfortunate as I really rate him, but we cannot go on with guests all year round.. FWIW seeing Darcy with the Robin on his chest will only mean that with the Poole connection out of his hair, he will see the light and spearhead our title charge with Doyley next season..
  3. I don't know where your getting that scoreline from... up to the last 3 heats way back in April there was only 5 in it... going to closer than a lot of people think.
  4. usually isn't when your 10 down.. to be fair about the meeting it was pretty much a bore fest until the last. Fantastic ride from RL but if MJ hadn't of lifted down the back straight Poole would have won as Iversen only passed Dak because of him slowing down with Janowski. I initially thought the track looked superb with quite a bit of dirt down, but... you went wide... you went backwards.
  5. how did you work that one out... we are severely depleted with AM returning...
  6. let's hope so eh... somehow i don't think it will happen personally.
  7. it would be funny if Adrian drops a point or two.. more than likely gets a point or two i reckon..
  8. Must win for the Robins, if they trap like they did against BV then it'll be all over and we will finish 7th in the table I reckon....... just above Wolves..
  9. Put Kennett off then himself... To be fair he has rode well tonight.
  10. How the hell is Kennett excluded 👎👎
  11. If ever there's an average manipulation going on its tonight. .. 😂 😁
  12. Can see a home win tonight, Lakeside need to as they will be totally cut adrift if they don't.... AJ v FL... bit of swede bashing tonight.. 10 point home win for me.
  13. Belle Vue should rout Leicester, cementing their position in the top 4.
  14. I do love a good conspiracy theory... Why would Batch be in front on the last corner with the Belle Vue boys buzzing round him then stop... risking being slammed from behind (oh er missus) Take the defeat on the chin and move on. Belle Vue fully deserved the win last night. The only complaint from me really was how slick the track was, giving nothing to the likes of Howarth and Morris who tried to pass.
  15. major gating lesson tonight, track too slick, you tried the first bend lick and went backwards. Fair play Belle Vue, thoroughly deserved the win tonight.
  16. if this is true then a chill pill is required. No need for any of that in Speedway. Take it on the chin boy and man up and come out better in the next race.
  17. I'm hearing no Charlie (at Ipswich) or Lewis (at Sheffield) on Thursday... ....
  18. in hindsight, I'd have loved to have seen Howarth in place of King as personally I don't rate him for some reason.
  19. I've known NP over the years long before he joined Sky, found he was ok then but a total nob jockey now. He so far up his own jacksey it's unreal.
  20. Blinkered Bjerre, what a star. First he rides like an absolute junior, then he gates and goes and bulks his team-mate at every opportunity on the Tac ride, then how can a rider enters the first turn in front and come out last is beyond me. The guy is a liability and I can see DW lining up at KL. RS (get well soon), KB & NP will be the riders to go if KL want to have a chance of league success this season.
  21. what...! utter rubbish. He got money from Sky to compensate the armchair fans and he (only he) chose to charge full price on the door, no discounts or anything. If he'd have taken the initiative to do what Swindon did the week before then his pocket wouldn't be so 'light' as you put it as people would have bought the fiver ticket and then may not have turned up, but the money would've been in his back pocket.
  22. all they had to do is start the race then pull up with an 'ef'... sorted, no fine.. easy really.
