  1. Glasgows team up on 2nd December for social media stuff for team announcement.
  2. Actually, I'll put my hand up and agree it was an over-reaction , not baseless however, but still an overreaction. The mental health comment wasn't a woke based remark, speedway as a sport has to look at the pressures its putting on its youngsters. I get the post is meant as tongue in cheek, in comparison to what was said in a previous 12 page topic it's lighthearted but when there's already been 12 pages pretty much tearing a 17 year old apart not to mention the pages and pages on other social media sources, do we still have to keep using a 17 yr old for topics of interest? Anyway To the OP, sorry for the over-reaction, heart was engaged before the head.
  3. I think any youngsters coming to Glasgow has a good chance to greatly improve, with the 2 tracks big and small and unrestricted track time they would have a great chance to really develop.
  4. So we've seen the likes of Connor Bailey and other youngsters drop out the sport due to mental health yet we seem to think its acceptable to continue to hound young Vinnie Foord. Away and give your head a wobble and get a grip, and ironically all done by hiding away behind a faceless profile, absolutely pathetic.
  5. Similar tracks shape wise but track material very different. Claus has said in interviews he likes clay, something Workington can't go too heavy with it due to the tracks location.
  6. He doesn't know because that's not the team
  7. With clubs like Workington, Glasgow, Scunny etc available to provide track time this may have played a big part in Ashtons change of heart as there is no denying track time is a big appeal to riders especially the youngsters.
  8. Until AGM is done it would be irresponsible to state which club Ashton has signed for as it may change again but currently it's not Oxford.
  9. Crashfield 😂, did you come up with that yourself 👏🏻, have a wee gold star for your clever wit and banter. Why would Glasgow buy another new fence when they've already bought FIM safety Fence for the 2025 season? Back to the playground and try and pick up some better 'banter' , least be bitter and funny rather than just bitter and attention seeking.
  10. He wanted Glasgow, was quite vocal about it when he was at Ashfield watching Glasgow while injured.
  11. Club/Promotion/Team Manager can't be held accountable if they aren't told the truth.
  12. Like the idea of having a young guns riding for Glasgow but think Foord's average is too high and would be hard to see Boughen leaving Oxford.
  13. 3 riders currently signed for the 2025 season. Anders isn't one of the signings and won't be signing for Glasgow.
  14. Bomber wants a club that is professional in its operation and a track that can show case his riding style, Glasgow/Ashfield tick those boxes.
  15. You really should stop sucking lemons, that bitterness has given you a right chip on your shoulder.
  16. Biggest crowd of the season, with plenty of new faces experiencing Speedway for the 1st time with the partnership with Glasgow Warriors introducing new fans to the sport. With everything from crashes, controversial decisions, hard racing, passing in every heat, team captains showing passion and pride ,that is what you call entertainment. Credit to both teams for showing what speedway should be like.
  17. Couple of videos on the group discussion page of Matic at SON
