  1. That change takes them well over the limit. The social media post notes that Ablitt will be no.1 which would mean it has to be Roynon making way also, one would presume.
  2. Absolutely. If Manzares signs for Workington it won't be Zischke he replaces.
  3. I'd be extremely surprised if the Redcar management did that to a rider. Expect they'll go for a straight replacement for TJ.

  5. You're looking at it far too simplistically. A successful team in any league will have to average over 42 points, let's say 43. That's a near 7 point increase across the team in this season's NDL. Wood would appear to be a prime candidate in the Edinburgh side for a substantial increase on his starting average of 4.50. Given the realistic scope for improvement elsewhere you'd think Wood will need to add two points or so for Edinburgh to improve by seven as a team, which would have him averaging 6.50. That's pushing on heat leader level. Makes sense to me.
  6. In a word, no. The Cubs team building was always centred on a choice between Thompson and Perry as it is difficult to accommodate both. An extra 0.25 doesn't change that. If Perry was in place of the next highest averaged rider, Tom Spencer, Leicester would have to drop Arran Butcher for a 3.00 rider. They could have done that with a 36 point limit.
  7. If you're referring to Congreve he didn't ride on a British passport. He rode as a Commonwealth rider in the same way as Pearson and Hook did, those are no longer allowed in the NDL (after only being permitted again for one season!)
