i agree Jim unlike road racing where speed is of the essence you often hear of riders "de-tuning" their bikes to make them competitive I remember Martin Smolinski saying the reason why he was struggling early on was the fact that his machines were actually too powerful for the british tracks hence 10-20-30 bhp extra would be absolutely no use at all on many tracks ... its a delicate mix of rider attitude/ability a competitive machine and the ability to get the right set up for the track quickly that are key and of course Trick has all of those ... nothing suspicious i fear he's just doing the job
I thought it was pretty poor, hardly a good advert for speedway and the production was too over the top, im just hoping it was a bad track on a bad night and normal service will soon be resumed
Just got back from 2 weeks abroad, can anyone fill me in quick on the Hans A situation i guess that he won the gp but what happened post world cup in the "difficult 2 weeks" i seem to remember the threads being very hot on here ... please someone dont make me read ALL the threads ... thanks!!!
Sorry steve but check the video nice shot of some big swedish flags with Poole Pirates on them .... unless of course Poole have a Swedish franchise team .... not getting on at Poole here because I am sure there were a few Coventry meltheads with AJ flags as well ... what worried me most is that if i remember rightly they were of an age where perhaps they should have know better ... i would sort of expect it from the 14-yr old "lets support the fit riders" brigade.
i guess part of the problem is splatty that Ryan aint Flyin ... thats why he never got anywhere near the final ... mmmm starting to think about sour grapes ... where have i heard that before?
Cant add anymore really, superb, what happened to the crowd though that was the only disappointing thing unless i was mistaken it looked very thin on the ground.
Yep theres a big queue of australians outside the local no win no fee ... claiming something about tripped over by something that looked like a bouncy castle tied to a fence
