Club and Rider part company. What’s the big deal. Belle Vue employ another person. Cook gets another job. It happens everyday. Nothing to see here, move along

I remember being at his debut meeting for The Young Stars. Can’t remember who the opposition were. Anybody ?

What is this a Speedway forum or Homes under the Hammer

Is it really in Buster’s interest to build a power house team at any of his 3 venue’s? Surely he wants close exciting meetings. No good having a strong team at Boro and packing the place if no sod turns up at Foxhall or Saddlebow. i would suggest he wants 3 evenly balanced sides
-
Law of averages says Buster must have at least one successful team

Does Buster call the shots?

Poole only won a 2 leg trophy. Lynn ended up top of the League so need to alter anything -
They sure did, over the course of the season I think we both agree that they were without doubt the best team in the League. Poole were just in the right place at the right to be take advantage of Kings Lynn's misfortune over the 2 legs.
-
That's it ray, you can see it for what it is. Lynn... won the league, ( as In finished Top) Poole rode their luck over 2 legs ( 4 if you count Somerset) and came out on top. The record books will say... Poole were Champions that season. The record books also show that the Wilder and Fury bout ended a draw, and Wilder is World Champion ( well one of them)..... Does it tell the full story ?
-
I would feel that we won a 2 legged play-off.
-
They also succeeded in ending up top of the League
-
Sorry my mistake Skidder. I got that wrong. Did you get it right that nobody care ? It might be suggested you winning over 2 legs at the end of the season means very little to anyone outside of Dorset.
-
Arch, How can I answer the question ? It has never happened. If it ever does I will be n a better position to answer the question
-
I don't think they do, but sometimes in sport the result doesn't tell the full story.
-
See Arch, that's prob where we differ. For you, it seems its all about winning. At Lynn we don't ever win much, but that's ok, we still enjoy our Speedway. So to end up as the best team in the league over a full season is enough for me. I don't need a win over 2 elgs to define my season of watching Speedway.
-
Don't forget what ever team Birmingham put out they have the secret weapon of Lol Rogers calculator to factor in.
-
You are wrong there skidder. many people in Norfolk were very proud that Kings Lynn, for the first time in their history finished top of the no 1 League in British Speedway. So why say nobody ? Where did you gain that info from ? Was it a straw pool you did at Wimborne ?
-
Arch, That's a given. Let the record show and all that. Doesn't change the fact that Lynn still finished top of the league with Poole winning 2 meetings to claim a title. Have a watch of the Wilder/Fury fight. The record books show's that as a draw. Look at how many Trophy's Lance Armstrong won.
-
Ray, Lynn finished top of the League. So over the course of the season they were the best team. Poole won the play-offs, so they were the best team over 2 matches. Like it or not, them's are the facts.
-
Right time right place in the play-offs. Followed an average league season.
-
Ray, as I remember you didn't win the League. Kings Lynn won the League, Poole won the League play-off's
-
I got the feeling that Robert Lambert enjoyed his season with Lynn, this year , and for the first time being the main man. Its a massive bonus to have the guy in British speedway and from a local level to not only have him ride in the UK but at Kings Lynn.
