Have to agree with you there, but cant argue sheffield will be challenging, will be interesting to see if holder goes missing in the play offs again.

How about a top 4 of doyle, batch, jensen and adam ellis how much would that leave for bottom 3,as tht top 4 will def win you enough races home and away. -

So they should to,think championship should be no more than 15quid across the board tops!! -

If youre right which i assume you are, thats some heatleader trio would be happy with that at this level. -
Cant blame leicester for going the way they look like going with strong top 5 as need 2 cover for the youngsters,at the end of the day its a numbers game unfortunately...
-
Looks like morris and Howarth both fit in at 15.35 and you have 15.61 available,if thats the last 2 riders thats gotta go straight in as title favourites a very strong team indeed no pressure on the 2 youngsters.

Wouldnt mind howarth and steve worrall to back up danny king -
Thats got nothing to do with the post i quoted saying he wasnt on a bargain average,as i dont see kyle more than a 6.50 rider in the champ, dont get me wrong hes a 100% trier thats 1 quality thts admirable.
-
Think that has been said every year tbh,all newman is now is a championship 2nd string or a good reserve thats it hes found his level.
-
If you guys named that 1-7 def favourites for the league nicholls, morris at 2 or 3 or reserve thats a very strong team.

So i guess its time to start thinking of teams for next year, 2 riders id like to see or atleast 1 of them is danny king or charles wright. -
Technically he isnt he rides on a polish licence, josh and nicolai have been instrumental in getting to the play offs imo, thats exactly what i said we have riders in our team that when its a slight bit rough or wet dont wanna know,we had that with KK years ago and thank god were well shot of him now, give me british riders who get stuck in any day of the week.
-
At the end of the day steve certain riders in our team cant adapt to grippier or rough tracks and question marks have to be aimed at there team places for next season,as you said earlier the top 2 didnt wanna know and with play offs your going to prepare your track 2 suit your team or not suite the away team, its about time we had riders who wanna ride for the team not going through the motions at certain tracks because the track has got grip on it i say just not sign any aussies full stop!!!

Really dissapointing performance tonight, think worrall getting injured in the end hasn't helped with the way the team was set up we were struggling at reserve alot where as when nico was there we allways had a match winner there,no strength at reserve leaving are not so strong top 5 not to have any weak links and that definatley caught up with us tonight felt covatti at reserve would have got us through. Onto tonight Brady and Jack were awful but will we look elsewhere next year i very much doubt it so probably the same top 5,as said in previous comments i think brady is the best we can currently afford along with jack snobby holder, there so focused on themselves and no team ethic about them at all, brady cant team ride to save his life and holder hurts his toe nail and withdraws pathetic!! And congrats to ipswich much the better team and wanted it more solid team performance cant blame them for preparing track like that tbh knowing r aussie riders cry like babies if there's any dirt, best of luck in the final think you'll need it swindon or wolves will give you a tougher test. Must say a comment previously from skidder i felt was particularly out of order saying all the true fans will be there for last meeting, you do realise people have other commitments and other things to spend money on,some true fans cant actually afford certain luxuries or any luxuries so give it a break!!
-
Kinda agree there tbh,the track was changing every race and as a team manager should have had some influence in the pits especially when we started getting 5-1s plus the riders using there heads and changing there set ups, both of there faults tbh they seemed quite complacent expecting to win from 30 18 up and it cost them.... hahaha
-
What a meeting as said in previous comments in all my 20yrs following never seen a comeback like it i had given up tbh once ipswich went 10 up with Harris and Lawson just damage limitation, couldnt quite believe my eyes what a comeback,10pt lead is a reasonable lead im very happy with that and a well deserved rider of the night to THJ crucial 5-1s in 12 and 14 to back up the top end. Get in there!!!!

Tbf the whole way through the thread gavan has been pretty much spot on,poole could of easily replaced worrall with someone better and a lesser rider than wells, lets say freddie jakobsen for example but hey ho we couldnt afford him no doubt like Jake Allen at the start of the year and ended up with nbj which no disrespect isnt on the same level. Traditionally in the past we have signed riders near the end of the season if needed whoever they were, piotr pawlicki, greg hancock to name a couple and this yr we have thj shows the level of effort and desire at the club atm..... Just proves less is being spent on the team and the track judging by last night, the infamous hole on bend 1 and now 1 out of bend 2 which josh lifted from a couple of times last night, looks like that was a bodge job, should of been done in the off season not now with no time for it to bed in.
