I wouldn't rather watch them but they do represent the format I would prefer for the gps. The presentation of the SEC is too much like the gps, they could at least dress the girls in another colour!

I was the same with my kids, they were fine, used to fall asleep on the way home and I'd just pop them in bed lol

To be fair Wales isn't a hotbed for speedway unlike the sticky out bit on the other side of the country lol And until, if ever, BSI manage to get their competition more widely known, yeah it won't grow! The World Champ is doing his best mind ....

Was as Swindon last night and looked around me to see the majority of fans were probably over 40. So how can we get young people to speedway and keep them there ..... if we did, would they be satisfied with 'just' the speedway, as newbies no, so what would they want, music they like, commentary on the racing (Aussie style?), a chance to get out on the centre green, a chance of pics with the riders, encouragement to cheer for 'their' team. What do you think? I think 100% more thought needs to go into the presentation on race nights to make the whole experience more entertaining!! And then give every regular fan a freebie ticket to bring along a young person under 25 .... I know this has all been said before but .......

Why do you say nobody saves their money for gps rather than league racing, I reckon they do! You do for one :-p

We should have Shale Searcher without a doubt, great idea, if we can have a bloody betting section then a newbie section is just as important.

The GPs could easily have put people off going to league meetings IMO in three ways, 1) because league mtgs aren't the big event that GPs are obviously 2) people save their money to go to GPs rather than league mtgs 3) people want to see all the top guys racing against one another which they don't get in league mtgs In what way were they asked to get involved? Of course the GP series stops riders racing here cos basically it's like racing in another league ... The major change that would be good for British Speedway would be to race on a set night or nights imo

NKI put some of the blame for foreign riders and top blokes not racing here onto the quality of our tracks ......

If we tried a two day only league I don't think there would be enough teams, it seems Helmsley and Dugard won't change so that's two gone!

And go stand on the back straight on the stock car track opposite the start/finish gate or to the right of that so you can see the action on the 2nd bend, you'll be closest to the track you can get :-)

It adds to it yeah but some fans are definitely more vocal than others!
