  1. Maybe not but Sheffield best assets should be used, not loaned out if they are to have a better season next year. I'd ask them both to come back in alongside Skidmore. A year away might of done Ashworth the power of good.
  2. If Neil machin has any sense he'd be taking ashworth and Complin back to Sheffield to spear head the tigers next season.
  3. At last we agree - great night out. The chapmans have done a superb job on the stadium. What a shame Sheffield cant put in for these type of meetings. 110% effort from the Team GB lads rode their socks off despite some shocking gating.
  4. Can someone keep me posted on the weather - leaving Barnsley at 4.30pm Heres hoping Steady and Team GB show the rest the shale.
  5. Get plenty of dirt down and watch Steady and the boys rip straight into the final. On overall performance's the Team GB squad picks itself.....Barker, Kennett, Bridger and King have to be more consistent.
  6. Dito. Great Stuff to see Steady in the GP Qualifier - riding high on confidence this season. Can he do it? Hope so!
  7. Unfortunately the problems called "Looking after you're own" something the Danes and Poles manage to do fantastically but we somehow struggle when it comes down to it. Time after time we have been presented opportunity's on our own tracks yet we cant prepare a race track when 9 times out of 10 we only produce racers who love a grippy track they can race on. How the on earth that manages to occur when we are the HOME team is beyond me....i don't quite think they had the same problem in Poland last year. Furthermore, the level of machinery simply isn't there compared to the likes of Crump, Andersson, Pedersen, Adams and Gollob for example. I can guarantee that all their earning go straight in their pockets and sponsors/partners provide the cost of being an international level performer. That level of sponsorship simply isn't their for the British lads at senior or junior level. Unfortunately I tend to agree that speedway in this country is in a bigger mess than some people seem to think and the BSPA itself do a great job of "Looking after their own" because to be honest they couldn't give a monkeys about Team GB or where are next world champion is going to come from as their club interests are paramount - which will be forever under the current structure.
  8. Good luck to the Team GB boys tonight - kick some Scandinavian a*se. Come on Steady lad - show them doubters what you can do!!!! Id be there cheering the lads on if i wasn't Ibiza bound.
  9. Will be very interesting to see how Tom Hedley does in the next round/s. Could well be in with a shout at finding a late berth in the UK for 2007.
  10. Whats the chances of seeing riders like Tom Hedley and Tyron Procter in the UK next season?
  11. Can only see one winner and it kills me to say it, but on his current form Hans Andersson should take top spot. Isnt Vetlanda a fairly big track? Holta must be in a with a big chance on his 'HOME' track but id love to see Steady up there and there isnt a rider in the field who he hasnt and can't beat!!
  12. Big long shot - but does any body know anywhere (Hotel,B&B,Campsite) in or around the cardiff, bristol areas that has accomadation for four adults as our original plans have fallen through!
  13. Any body no if any camp site in and around cardiff have spaces left!
  14. I didnt know he was still doing a bit of racing, seemed to fanish after racing for the Bradford Dukes.
  15. Can see Troy Batchelor doing some serious damage in the UK during 06.
  16. Nice to see told Steady representing his country, would be nice to see him give the big licks to our Aussie freinds on a few occasions in their own back yard.
  17. Qualification must be brought back into the gp series before BSI shoot speedway as a whole in the foot. Bets for the Danish wild card are now-being taken!!
  18. Simon fly’s out nearly ever year as a holiday come pre-season exercise and this gives him the chance to catch up with many of his pals down under (Lee Redmond Included). As mentioned Simon will be taking place in the aussie champ's this season and with the possibility of some of the roo big boys taking place it should be a great warm up for the 2006 European season!
  19. What the hells going on surly if he's already made international appearances for Norway he cant make appearances for Poland. This wouldn’t be allowed to happen in football. If it could Gigg’s could put paid to England’s left sided headache as he’s half English!!!!!!! The wacky and weird world of speedway continues to amuse and annoy me when will the monkeys who run this sport learn?? No wonder the sport continues to laughed at!!
  20. Nicki Pedersen continues to wind-me-up how the hell can this bloke continue to be allowed to ride over the top and dangerously he should have been excluded at least twice. I got very wound up about him on Saturday Night!! I’d say Crumpie was excluded once fairly when he wiped out Nicki and Tonio, but the other two where very suspect. That’s what you get when you appoint an idiotic referee from Poland for the biggest event in the GP calendar. On a different note I’d just like to say I and the gang had a fantastic weekend and whole occasion was top class. By far the best GP seen at Cardiff!
