Looks like the lads are getting the run around. Get wise organisers these guys are out of pocket to go to these events. Why can't you get organised and provide cover for costs incurred for the youngsters. Lets not forget,they are the future. Or,does nobody care?

Is it not the case that Olle has kept his connections to speedway whereas the vast majority just drift off and don't seem to want to be part of the ongoing speedway set up ?

I remember planning a business trip to Rochdale in the mid 90's with a view to go to see Long Eaton V the Monarchs in the evening. The Monarchs won the match,and Yesa Ylinen was our topscorer. Nice track but funny sloping surface for the spectators at some places. ps can't remember the fish supper!!!!

I used to go to the Golden helmet meetings in the late 70's and there were go cart races between heats,and ans a finish around midnight.

Nice to see Dale, Marc and Brendan at The Heathersfield Golden Helmet. You all rode well and no fallers,unlike the main event. What is shocking is that the BSPA don't cover a penny of your expenses. It is a disgrace that your fuel for travelling to the U 15 events are not covered, at the very least. I hope you all returned safely and i hope to see you all again in the future.

The translation is pretty good. I noticed a van at Gelsenkirchen last saturday with Belgien speedway Team on it. Last I heard before this was that they planned to run no meetings. Would love to be there but it's too far.

We were also in block X and surely somone was aware that the PA system was not working prior to ht 19! Entry via the Victoria entrance was pretty chaotic my wife was relieved of two litres of water and i was allowed to bring through a glass jar of Turkish tea compound. I flew the Scottish Saltire over the bike checking area, but i guess no one paid much attention.

On the day you can travel on all the normal trains. You can't use the fast ones. ICE. Don't pass it on but the ticket checks on the trains can be few and far between.

Young Dale Lamb also rides a 500 and is equally as good with it. Indeed he had to use it in one of his races at Northside.

Sounds like a great day out.

Next season you will have Northside,Workington not too far away.
