Have you had a few beers tonight ? You've replied to my post twice.. In my world, people become jealous of someone in their own circles - not someone who they have zero contact with apart from on a tv screen, or standing watching them at a speedway track.

Y'know, i'm can never get my round the notion that people think someone is actually jealous of a speedway rider. I only caught brief highlights, and that was when knackered after a night shift, so apologies if i missed something - but my view of it is that as World Champion and clearly top dog in the field last night, he was pushing things to the limit. I couldnt help thinking if he'd have done the same had they're been a rider on gate 4 already doing regular gardening - my guess is probably not, as no doubt the other rider would have objected. So, trying to get an unfair advantage is my view i think Only my opinon of course..

Well in the age of instant information, perhaps the internet, rather than the speedway star, is where you need to be looking for the info that you crave so much.

Ian i'm quite aware of what he is thanks - i've had plenty enough experience of his trouble-making on this and other forums over the years. And as i've mentioned before, i shouldnt be forced to impair my own view of the forum by having him on block. I've yet to receive a ban for anything here, yet a certain someone else has more than a few of this in his back catalogue - that speaks volumes in my book. Your support of him is noble, i'll give you that.., but don't worry i wont be inviting him out for a coffee today as i know that upset you greatly last time - i'm on nights, so much better things like sleeping are on my agenda. Fair point - my only reason for not doing it was a thread i saw many moons ago where the same sort of thing came up with another member, and someone mentioned that with someone being on "ignore", it can sometimes make the thread hard to follow as big chunks of it would be missing.. I've put my name on many a post here before, so you're slightly off the mark there - it's Tom Elwood by the way, as you obviously havent seen the posts with my name on them.

Have tried pm in the past but his inbox is always full and it bounces back - no doubt due to the vast numbers of private mails he receives off the back of his posts on here. He declined my polite offer anyway on here.. Anyway, who even replies to pm's anyway ? Many characters on here, including ones that are circling this thread right now are very big talkers here, but are strangely quiet once you attempt to pm them to carry on a discussion.

It doesn't surprise me that there has been many many replies along the lines of the Slough thread. ie, nonsense. Why post something ironic about curling on a speedway forum anyway ? Apart from looking for some back patting from your cohorts after your ban and moderation, what is to be gained ?
