Jo_1515 replied to Jez's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
I would really love to go to either Prague or Bydgoszsch (sorry about the spelling!) Both great racing and the places look nice too. -
2004 British GP Tickets
Jo_1515 replied to witchnut's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Cardiff was the weekend before my very first exam last year, but I just told mum I would take my revision in the car with me!! 8) This year, the first exam was June 8th or something I think so Cardiff isn't really in the main section where its really hectic! -
Definitely think the ref made a big mistake in the final....Pedersen did exactly the same as Lee and Tomasz had done earlier in the meeting...why was he not excluded or even all 4 back? No way was it AJ's fault, really inconsistent :-( AJ would have got a place on the podium and that would have done his confidence the world of good.

2004 GP Wild Cards
Jo_1515 replied to raymondbudd's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
These are my six: * Mark Loram (would have finished higher but injured) * Lee Richardson (put in some decent performance - deserves another chance like Nicholls last year and look at him now) * Lukas Dryml (would have been up there challenging IMO but injured - definitely deserves a place) * Tomas Bajerski (proved himself this year - deserves another go) * Hans Andersen (He's young and has had injuries as well) * Billy Janniro (he could cope and think he could prove to be interesting) -
Jason or Nicki?
Jo_1515 replied to London Witch's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Definitely Crumpy's year. Nicki doesn't deserve to be World Champion. He may deserve the odd win but not the overall title. Jason has been fantastic this year so it's gotta be him. -
I know Billy Hamill is winning the championship after one round, with BJ 2nd, Ryan 3rd and Greg 4th I think it is. If the last three are in the wrong order, sorry, but I know they are the top four!

Bydgoszcz G.P. - Predictions
Jo_1515 replied to Ozyace's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Ok! I thought he would get to the final! But I was backing Tomasz all the way. Just the way he rides the outside is amazing. And some of the moves he pulled off to win his heats....he's amazing. And well done Crumpy as well...the championship is his now...please!!! Just a shame the whole climax can't take place on a proper track to produce racing like last night in such an important meeting. -

czech Gp (06 09 03)
Jo_1515 replied to krissie's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
That's exactly the way I saw it. I normally like Sam but I think he got it totally wrong. Even if AJ had of had is front wheel down, he still would have had nowehre to go because Rune was cutting across his space. Sam said AJ was at fault because he had his wheel up, well so did Rune, and so do a lot of riders coming out of the gate. Just don't know what Sam expected AJ to do, to miss the crash, and to blame him..... Even if the person hadn't of been AJ, if it had of been Nicki Pedersen, I still would have said Rune was at fault so I'm not being bias. -

Good GP tonight, so much better on the permenant tracks. The racing was good and everyone stood a fair chance on whatever gate they came off. Massive well done to TT. He was fantastic tonight - really riding his socks off. Also hard luck to AJ. I felt as though he could have got into the final, and I disagree with Sam. I don't see how that was AJ's fault. Where could he go? Just hope he is ok. :? -
GP Qualification Final, August 17th, Poole
Jo_1515 replied to bartosch's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Good meeting. Nice to meet all the Forum people that I already know and also Star Lady. Can't believe how long it went on for! The crash in heat 3 was awful. Such a shame for Lukas after just coming back from the horrific accident in Slovenia. Was great to see Pepe win. I was so happy He has really come on this year. Last year he could ride P'boro and was a load of rubbish everywhere else. This year he is scoring everywhere he goes and is even riding the small tracks well. What a star! Also well done to Jesper. He looked better than I've ever seen him before. -
I would include Barker but not Norris. He was on his home track tonight and he scored 4. He doesn't look like he wants to go and he can't ride away tracks anyway. I would go with Nicholls Richardson Barker Howe Harris

I noticed but didn't like to say!!!

Phillip, you said about all EL racing being spread out, well it's not all like that. I know most of it but we do get good close racing with lots of passing. Even I don't like meetings where it is all strung out. Take when Poole came to Coventry last, for example, I thought that was a pretty boring meeting racing wise.. most of the times were below 60 seconds and people were just gating and zooming off into the distance. I didn't enjoy that and would much prefer to see close racing with lots of overtaking. When you have meetings like that, what chance have the lesser riders got, when their machines are nowhere near as fast as the top guys. Speedway, in my opinion, is about skill, and overtaking people, not how fast you can go. Personally, I would love to see Sheffield come into the EL, but that's just because I've heard lots of good things about your track, and the amount of passing and good racing you get, I want you in the EL so I can visit your track! When you are in the PL, I have no reason too so mum won't take me!

Who will win in Slovenia?
Jo_1515 replied to Triple.H.'s topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Well he supposed to be riding at Poole tomorrow for Coventry so I should imagine he is riding on Saturday. Think either Greg or Dryml will win this one. -

Was my first time in Cardiff so of course I enjoyed it but I was expecting it to be louder and a better atmosphere. I'll definitely be going back next year as I had a fantastic time. -

Me too! I've got a England flag with Lee and Mark's name on it! If he isn't riding I need to do a quick patch up job! :? -
Last year one of my friends was staying in the same hotel as Billy H and Scott and this fire alarm thing went off and she was stood next to Billy H in just boxer shorts! Why do I always miss everything!
