  1. From what I seen, they seem to think Miedzinski is the preferred choice... which does surprise me!
  2. Yep you’re right in that it’s ‘each to their own’ as everybody will have different expectations and different circumstances. For me, I find it very difficult watching any form of sport back if it’s not live whether that be football, speedway or whatever - especially nowadays when it’s hard to almost avoid the results. I like to try and watch every match though and especially with the offers from Premier not being forthcoming like last year and half the matches being coveted, I’ve chose not to take up that option this year. Everybody else can make their own minds up though.
  3. And for more money for half the amount of matches is precisely the reason why I won’t be watching it on Premier Sports this year.
  4. The information they gave me was that they were only going to be showing the Sunday matches and not the matches on a Friday.
  5. I wonder if Drew Kemp might be included as no.8 for Gdańsk? Especially after seeming more impressive than Gruchalski in the recent pairs meeting
  6. Looks like Greg Walasek has earned himself a full return to the Ostrow side for Monday’s match. Looks like Adrian Cyfer will miss out to allow for Walasek to be included.
  7. Talk of speedway riders getting the vaccine in Poland as reported here: Perhaps soon the players and their teams in PGE Ekstraliga will be able to vaccinate themselves against COVID-19. Our information shows that Ekstraliga Żużlowa sent an inquiry to the clubs on this topic. We are working to tackle the COVID-19 problem in the league as soon as possible. I can't say anything more at the moment - Wojciech Stępniewski , president of PGE Ekstraliga , answers the question about the organization of vaccinations among speedway riders in an interview for our portal .
  8. Surprising news today coming out of Tarnow that Pawel Miesac is leaving the club, before even riding for them! No reasons given as to why just yet. Tarnow have Ernest Koza and Artur Mroczka as Polish riders but maybe they will look to land either Musielak or Miedzinski on loan from Toruń too.
  9. It’s effectively only a training session and not official competition, so a good chance for one of the juniors to get some additional track time against other riders.
  10. Very decent meeting. Tarasenko was on fire but couldn’t stop Zmarzlik when it mattered. An absolute cracker of a race between Zmarzlik and Musielak and then also Wozniak and Musielak - well worth watching back for them.
  11. Zmarzlik now 4/9 after 3 race wins in play Tarasenko currently 3/1 in play each way could be worth a punt with a favourable race coming up now before meeting Sayfutdinov and Zmarzlik in the last one. Edit - E/W just been removed now.
  12. It’s back! First odds of the year are up for the individual meeting at Bydgoszcz this afternoon. Always a tricky one so early on in the season to predict. Each way bet on Zmarzlik to win overall seems a good shout for a return though.
  13. Yep, he rode 3 races for Czesztochowa and then 1 for Grudziadz when they didn’t have anyone else available as they only had 5 riders
  14. As expected today, Czesztochowa have hammered a depleted Grudziadz team today in a pre season sparring. Interesting to note young Bartlomiej Kowalski scoring effectively a 4 ride paid maximum for the home side (3 wins too) , including an outing for Grudziadz too. Final score after 13 heats was 52-25 (no nominated races ran)
  15. Tomasz Bajerski has said that after the sparring match with Gorzow on Thursday it’s likely that Toruń will loan out one of their senior riders - likely to be either Miedzinski or Musielak. Going to be interesting to see which one leaves and then where they end up, especially being so close to the start of the season on Saturday in both leagues. Maybe Łódź or Rybnik?
  16. Difficult decision coming up for Toruń before next week - both Holders should be back, so do they bring both of them back into the side and then there be a straight shootout where it’ll be 2 out of Przedpelski, Miedzinski and Musielak. Should find out mid week but interesting time ahead. Me personally would be leaving out Miedzinski but time will tell! In other news, there are rumours of Zengota being linked with Grudziadz as a covid guest. They won’t of been too encouraged by today’s showing if that’s the case!
  17. Going to be interesting to see what Grudziadz manage to do before the first match. Pawlicki is ruled out of that one and Jakobsen will be riding for Gniezno so can’t cover as a COVID guest either. Grudziadz lack of strength in depth is evident so they will be looking to secure a second guest in the coming week or so I expect.
  18. Rohan Tungate has joined Lublin as their COVID guest rider, seemingly choosing them over Zielona Gora
  19. This is the latest reply: Hi Aron, thanks for your email. Unfortunately, we don't have confirmation yet for the fixtures in regards to Polish Speedway. Please keep an eye on our website for further updates.
  20. After exchanging various emails with Premier (they seem pretty prompt at replying in fairness) and explaining that I’m on about Speedway and not football like they kept referring to for some reason, it seems that Polish Speedway will be solely shown on Sundays and will not feature the Friday matches as per last year. Not sure on the reasoning behind that, but that seems to be the general view..... unless anything changes.
  21. I’ve just emailed them to confirm that they are halving their coverage this season compared to last season. Be interesting to see what they respond with.
  22. Frederik Jakobsen has turned down Toruń and signed up for Grudziadz as a covid guest rider. Toruń are expecting to have all of their squad available for their first fixture assuming there is no more cases of covid before then.
  23. Thanks for that, although I expect they will be offering some better offers hopefully in the next few weeks. It’s currently £11.99 per month where you can cancel anytime, the speedway season will only run for 6 months (maybe 7) so makes it cheaper to just pay month by month if you want it solely for speedway. Let’s see what happens in the coming couple of weeks
