Whatever league we are in I want to see newman heeps greaves for definate. Don't really want nicholls but when the tough got going last night he got wins, where our number 1 didn't. Scott will be 40 next season..not exactly the way forward, but nor is King, he isn't getting any better either and seems to have had a poor season, especially away. I would like to see Nico back to. I think we may be forced to go top league, which is where we then start to struggle not owning any riders. Can only see us being cannon fodder just like when last in it. Other riders I would seriously consider would be Masters Cook Campton Riss brothers and Lindgren harris

Sheffield certainly wanted to win tonight, a couple of our riders didn't look as good as you would expect from them. Kyle Howarth is one of the most improved riders around the ipswich track. His last couple of visits have been very impressive. I don't want to single any ipswich riders out, it was clear to see who, but they under performed, they can say what whey want in the paper, but it's on the track it's done...oops maybe just have given their identities away. Will sheffield also stuff us out the cup??? Of course and again very easily. Maybe for next season Skinner and Badiel could make a record for ipswich witches, 20 years of hurt and all that.

As for me, I found the racing pretty boring and mundane and even stopped going for a fair chunk of the season. Tonight though the racing okay.

But that's not the rules is it. Every year the same old tosh. The league is won by the team that wins the play offs, not who finishes top of the qualification process. There is no league winner, only a play off winner.

It may have helped if we got shot of sedgmen when it was clear he wasn't up to it., left it to long. I fully expect the tigers to now go on and beat Leicester in the promotion thing, but then miraculously still be top league next season.
