I WONDER IF ANYONE HAS GOT A COPY OF SATURDAYS GP FROM PRAGUE? WE WERE THERE AND I SET OUR SKY BOX TO RECORD IT, BUT BLOODY SKY DECIDED TO PUT IT BEHIND THE RED BUTTON GRRRRRRRR!!!!!! OUR GRANDSON WANTED TO WATCH IT AND CRIED WHEN I TRIED TO PLAY IT FOR HIM ALL WE HAD WAS BORING CRICKET! I WILL PAY FOR A COPY OBVIOUSLY IF ANYONE CAN HELP. THANK YOU :lol:

had the same problem obviously this is not an isolated problem i am sick to death of being stuffed by the powers that be who organise these big events we have been every year since it started in cardiff now we find the area we used to sit in is familys only what the hell is going on with this sport we call speedway????? ticket prices have gone up also and let me guess the accomodation prices will have also i bet

3 hours on phone trying to book tickets for cardiff missed the world team cup held on for so long half way through phone went dead thank you ticket master god forbid you might put enough people on the phones to cope the biggest shower of rubbish i have ever had to deal since the local sewage works blew up. internet not able to connect to web page thanks once again thicket master

My Daughter and her Husband are unable to attend Cardiff, they have 2 seats for sale on the Lower tier row 15 (the first row so you have no one in front of you) £38 each but if anyone wants them they can have them for £70. Also they have a room reserved in a B and B in Cathedral Road very close to stadium on the Saturday night. If anyone is interested email me on glenysputnam@hotmail.co.uk

Does anyone know of anywhere that would possibly have one double/twin room in Cardiff? We have our rooms but our Daughter and Hubby have booked tickets and want a room for the Saturday night. Thank you x

Well I have proof that the powers to be don't give a sh.. about anybody caught up in the Germany fiasco!!!!! When we found out that we were to be given complimentary tickets we e mailed to say that due to the fact that I suffer from vertigo could they make sure that I was given lower level seats, no one got back to us at all about that, however yesterday we received a letter stating that 3 tickets would be waiting for us on the day, I emailed them straight away stating that we were entitled to 4 NOT 3 tickets, I also pointed out that the collection time stated on the letter was between 12pm and 6pm - well how does that work then when the meeting stars at 5pm!!!! I also asked that if I sent an SAE would they post them to me as we will not be in Cardiff until late afternoon. We had a reply stating that yes someone had made a mistake and were entitled to 4 tickets - but get this you will love it all the allocated 'complimentary' tickets are yes you have guessed it UP IN THE GODS between sections U6 to U9!!! FANTASTIC!! NOT - plus they cannot post them to me they can only be collected. I emailed them straight back asking if they could possibly supply us with lower level seats because of the vertigo (that they were told about twice!!) They more or less answered straight away stating that no lower level seats would be given out as complimentary, so in other words us silly bastards can suffer again and they couldn't give a toss about what we went through in Germany - well never again will we travel to GP's abroard, we used to go to about 2 or 3 a year, but we will not line anyones pockets again, we used to love going but it has put a bad taste in our mouths!!!

I was one of the idiots caught up in the fiasco, I sent a long lengthy letter to 'the powers that be' what a load of bol...s came back!!!! All the excuses you would expect!! When I asked why the reruns on Sky weren't advertised for the Sunday they said 'you will have to take that up with sky' They must have known the bloody meeting wasn't being run not to include it in the schedules in the Sunday papers!!!! My Husband, myself and our friends have reluctantly decided that we will not take part in the 'circus' anymore, we have all attended our last GP abroard we can think of better things to do with our money, especially as 'our heroes' are sticking their 2 fingers up to us all!! We usually go to 3 or 4 but not any more, the least they could have done would have been to give a gesture to us all for wasting our hard earned cash, but no they give us a choice of certain GP's not all of them, well you know what they can stick them where the sun doesn't shine and I hope hard working people will vote with their feet!!!!! Furthermore I do hope that if the riders turning their backs on us (the people that put them where they are) want to come back part way through the season are told 'on your bike' LITERALLY!!! I am a very big fan of Hans and it will be a shame not to see him but he is not bigger than the sport!! It is such a shame to say it but I personally think that Speedway as we know it will be dead in the water before long!

I totally agree!!!! My Husbands nickname for Nicholls is Tim Henman THE NEARLY MAN!!!! He is a pile of rubbishE (imo) and Harris isn't much better!! Holder should be in the GP's I just wonder if he thinks he is not quite ready, would hate 'the circus' to spoil him

Well I plan to try and sue the powers that be!!!! I suggest everyone writes to them informing them of what they intend to do, send an itemised invoice for hotel bills/flights etc...... In the letter give them a date which you would like a reply by (e.g. 2 weeks or so) and advise them that if you don't receive a reply by that date you will commence proceedings in the small claims court!!! THAT IS WHAT I SHALL BE DOING!!!!!!! I went over with my 2 daughters and my friend I have never been more angry and upset, everyone had there own story as to why they chose ths GP, and most was because and indoor meeting could not be cancelled by the weather!!!!! My Husband I go to quite a lot of GP's abroard but I think we will think twice in future, I HOPE IT PISSES DOWN NEXT SATURDAY AND IS CALLED OFF. the officials whoever they are a bunch of tossers and should be shot!!!!!

How far from the Hotel is the triangle roughly? It would be nice for a crowd to go,it is my daughter Becci's birthday so a party atmosphere would be fab!!!

Is anyone staying at the Maritim Hotel next Saturday? My 2 daughters, my friend and me will be staying for the weekend and wondered where is the best place to eat and drink I believe there is a bar underneath the hotel? As it is one of my daughters birthday on the Friday where would be the place to go for the evening? We fly from Birmingham at 7 05 anyone else going at that time???? COME ON HANS!!!!!!

CONGRATULATIONS HANS AND WELL DONE!!!!!!!!! So very pleased he won on Saturday, I was shouting and cheering I just wish we had been there I think I would have internally combusted!!!!! Looking forward to Germany I hope he can be in the Super Prix, I will be there with my two daughters (heaven help us all!!)

We all thought the music was great, wasn't overkeen on the individual rider choices though, but loved all the Queen stuff (I think a Queen tribute band would be fantastic!!) We went to see one last week it was the guy called Gary Mullen (I think the show is called one night of Queen) he is fantastic if you close your eyes it is Freddie, he dresses and moves like him the wholw show is fab, I think that would get the crowd going!!!!!!! But yes on the whole loved the music etc.... and the flames thought that was ace!!!! Booked our tickets for next year last night!!!! 361 more sleeps

Hoping and keeping everything crossed it will be 'THE PERFECT AND COMPLETE PACKAGE - Hans!!!!

Well we arrived back today, thought the racing was quite crap!! The highlight of the night was having Hans right underneath us!!! (so to speak) After all the build up to the event I would have expected a much better race track, when you get the likes of Gollob, Pedersen etc... not being able to get anywhere on the outside you know its going to be very processional, we were very disappointed. We were also very angry the way the entrance was organised they could learn a few lessons from Cardiff, it was quite scary at times it was becoming quite a crush situation you only needed someone to panic and I dread to think what could have happened, some people were getting quite agitated, my Hubby used to be a front row prop in a Rugby team so he protected me (thank God!!) As for the Tim Henman (sorry Scott Nicholls incident) he should have been excluded, I can't stand the stupid pratt, he couldn't resist gobbing off at some fans who DARED to say something to him, I can just imagine if Hans had been involved, we would never have heard the last of it!!!! I dont think we shall be going next year.
