Handy Hints For Cardiff

I'm taking my son and we will be going for the 1st time. Tried booking a travel lodge towards the end of last year in Cardiff and they were all fully booked then. Ended up with one in Swansea just up the road for the Saturday night. Do they operate the park and ride scheme as they do for the footie does anyone know.
