Does anyone know a good pub in Brighton that will show the World Cup meeting on Saturday?

Thought this event was a credit to British Speedway. Was not impressed with Gollob in final heat though

This is the real shame. My memories of Ole Olsen as a quality rider have almost been wiped-out by his buffoonery throughout his involvement with the GPs. Real shame when a legend becomes a bellend.

No idea. He's well past his sell by date. Looks rather out of shape too, which can't help...

I returned to speedway in 2000 after a 10 year absence (which was due to sport and work commitments). I have steadily become disillusioned with the way the sport is run from PL, to Elite, to GP (no experience of Conference, so cannot comment). I have been one of the people who say we must continue to support the sport, otherwise we will regret it when it is gone. Sadly, I am beginning to feel that what we have at the moment is getting close to not being worth saving. The sport is run by a whole bunch of incompetent idiots, who treat the fans with utter contempt. I'm very close to giving up on it; I never thought I would have said that a few years ago.
