  1. They certainly did either side of me <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yes I remember that Someone let you down with a ticket at the last minute - but luckily you had a good friend . Gem, Joanne, & I were sitting infront of FD, Steve Turner & Phil .... who had their own unique way of ensuring we kept refreshed throughout the meeting
  2. Wouldn't dream of it ST - that's why I stopped short. Do you want me to delete my post ? Welcome back btw
  3. You / LT found a good spot the other year Steve Turner...
  4. Hmmm, does this mean you chickened out because of something Rico told you!!?? ...Friends! You're banned from chatting to him on MSN before next years GP or I'll never get there. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Ahhhhhh please see my previous post LW. Rico was very encouraging on a number of occaisions. One reason for my reluctance was influenced the serious illness of a member of my family which I may have mentioned. ... and I'm a coward too
  5. Rico Edited by author for being unable to comprehend. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'd be interested to know what was said pre-edit, going by the time of the post, hope it wasn't drink induced! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Ahhh Good example of me posting an ambiguous message. I chickened out yes - what I meant to acknowledge was that Rico was very persuasive and was going to give us alot of help & guidance on our trip. ("with the help of Rico") was a poor abreviation of this - and oops , yet again i've given the wrong impression As this may have happened before please can I request that anyone misunderstands an e-mail or a post from me - now or in the future please contact me for clarification. I do sometimes, esp. late at night sometimes have a whacky sense of houmour - which could be mis-understood. As you have said , LW, irony doesn't easily transfer into print .
  6. Rico Edited by author for being unable to comprehend. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'd be interested to know what was said pre-edit, going by the time of the post, hope it wasn't drink induced! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Probably was LW... he told me he had a hangover when I was chatting to him earlier! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That was one bad hangover !!! I saw what he posted & I couldn't understand it either Some of it was in Polish - think it was somthing about a number one mate. Some of it referred to a "bag of wind? " & he indicated he "felt sorry" for someone .... I tried to reach him on MSN (wanted to know who the bag of wind was :-) ) but he was "Away" In more ways than one I guess
  7. I know I was talking about possible trips to Poland in general. Still feel bad about chickening out of going to Byddy with LW (with the help of Rico). - That's why we've agreed to plan well ahead for next year. Think it's too late to go to Wroclaw this year - but will look forward to your company in the future. Hey Jo as regards I think you just could be right there
  8. Would love to Jo - only thing that put me off was not knowing the exam dates - and now I know I could go ! Meanwhile the prices have gone up ! Mind you have promised to go to Poland next year Paul and Linda were very pursuaisive about joining them on the "Saga" Tour
  9. Ahhh Airies men - no pleasing them - and all those under the other 11 signs too Now with a gemini woman - you get a bargin - wit, charm, humour, and a hundred different attributes rolled into one . A man cannot get bored This is a toally unbiased opinion of a Gemini Woman - of course ...
  10. How many wives you had, Rico? btw I understand the age issue Jo
  11. To be fair to your family, Jo, I believe a lady close to JC intially believed him to be a racing driver
  12. Well... it was a wet day (runs for cover -->) I tried to keep score - but eventually I gave up with the pape'mache' in my hands and enjoyed watching the fun & games. I'm sure there was a score recorded on the previous website - perhaps Phil can help ... ? My memory recalls that it was a brill disco :Boycy totally took over the Karaoke and Adam played a mean air guitar. oh and shane kept his clothes on and ... Crumpy won - (shapes of things to come ) edit to explain overlap with previous post: Every cloud has a silver lining - took me ages to type as I was watching Corrie

I hope when you can that you watch out for any subsidence as I heard a rumour there was a bloody great big hole dug in that road a couple of years ago. ... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> LOL Remember that well Gem "Norbold's Hole" btw - did you have Smugglers in Clacton?
  19. You'll miss the party in Chesterfields that's for sure, which is a shame. Not only out of pocket, but ........................... As they say in Poland, nie ma za co. Rico <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Some of us aren't brave enough to do Poland with you (and can we blame them) Next year perhaps and Sir Matty - enjoy Torun
