Last night we`ve had the whole hotel for our own, nobody other guests or staff there!!!!!!!!! We`ve receive the master key when we arrived at the hotel. Last evening and night it was a little bit like haunting here..... It is good to have the next morning now, I don`t have sleeped very much :-) Lars was sleeping like a stone!!!!

Today it was a fantastic organized competition at Strömsund, the whole club was working very hard to organize the Santa Cup. Perfect looking stadium, normally it is an iceskating area but in the future they will organize more iceracing competition and I definitely think in a couple of years - maybe 2010 or 2011 they`ll organize WM-Qualificationround. Tomorrow we`ll have a short break. Next competition is on monday 29th december at Bollnäs, 7.00 p.m. first start (I think 6.00 p.m. british time???). Have a nice evening.

I`m just back at our hotel, have had some warm drinks. The cold temperatures are a little bit unfamiliar.... Tomorrow the competition at Strömsund starts 3.00 p.m., I think it might be 2.00 p.m. british time? Think Conkers or Iris123 could tell you the right british time..... Franz Zorn was riding very well but has had an engine failure at Heat 18, don`t know exactly what went wrong at his bike, but I think tomorrow we`ll have a little bit more time talking to the rider, because today most of them are very busy with their bikes before and after the competition. yes it is a public holiday at bavaria, not at Bochum :-( P.S. today we`ve had lovely weather with -5°C, snow, perfect for iceracing

@Doug No problem for us, you`re welcome coming with us, we`re driving for our own, so we`ve a nice place on the back seat for you :-) Yes, we`re driving through Hamburg because we`re taking the ferry Kiel-Gothenborg tomorrow night, arriving tuesday morning (Lars birthday ) in Gothenborg, driving to Gävle, making a short christmas eve break and than going straight from Gävle to Ö-vik.

Just a few seconds ago I`ve receive the official information of all 3 organizer of the Santa Cup that they have confirmed that all 3 competitions are okay. Now we`ve to put all things in our car and starting tomorrow morning, can`t await it to be in Sweden

Next weekend at Funäsdalen/Sweden 32 iceracing rider take part at a trainingscamp. Also 4 rider from GB take part: Mark Uzzel, Roger Newton, Rob Irving and Kevin Rowand. Also 12 rider from Sweden, 2 from Norway, 3 from Netherlands, 7 from Poland, 3 from Switzerland and 1 from Germany.

Lørdag d. 29. august 2009 skal Vojens Speedway Center være vært ved det Nordiske Grand Prix..." ....Speedway Grand-Prix series is coming back to Vojens. Saturday 29th august 2009 at Vojens Speedway Center the Nordic Grand Prix is running.....

Hope the iceracing god will send cold temperatures and snow to Sweden :-) Today Antti Aakko, Flyktman, Jo Saetre, Sven Holstein and Johnny Tuinstra have confirmed their participating. The swedish riders will be the ones qualifying for WC at the national swedish qualifying at Strömsund in december. Plus three wild cards/event.

The Santa Cup 2008 now is confirmed with the following dates: 26.12.08 Örnsköldsvik 27.12.08 Strömsund 29.12.08 Bollnäs Franz Zorn and Harald Simon both have confirmed their participating. More foreign riders are nominated but not confirmed yet.

Yes sorry, you`re absolute right Danish Webmaster. The 20 DKK are the extra price for more programmes. The first programme together with the ticket is free.

in Denmark the admission was £8,71 (80 DKK) + £2,18 (20 DKK) for a programme.

That will be the national WC/EC-qualifying for swedish rider in Strömsund (about 100 km north of Östersund). The dates for the Santa Cup are NOT confirmed of the organizer yet!!!!!

@Hansfan From Gelsenkirchen to Bochum it`s around 15-20 minutes by the tram, which stops at Bochum central station, than you`ll have a 3 minutes walk to the Bermuda triangle. As you`re Hans fan you will be my special friend at all :-) because I`m supporting Denmark and most of their rider since I was 8 years old and that is a very very long time until today :-) All of you`re very welcome to Bochum.

If some Speedway fans coming over friday night to Bochum at the Bermuda triangle we could arrange a speedway-meeting at one bar, I think that will be very funny for all.
