Mate dont worry about it, its all pure jealousy.. Yes they all have to preform come to the party and stay clear of injury. I as a fan like the team very much and Matt is more than happy with it.. Im very sure the new boys will get plenty of laps in on P&P day. Both Chris and Neil can play a pivital part in teaching the new boys how to ride poole properly. I fully expect Chris to be captain, but needs to get involved more in the pits..

Sometimes this applies to all teams. Luck and not injuries plays a big part with every club..

Season ticket sales/pass's enquiries are apparantly up mate, and im sure than Matt would have a few other irons in the fire to attract the crowds.. Matt states in the echo he feels this is the best side he has assembled in the last 4 years, i would say longer. But as i said, speedway is not run on paper, it must be transfered to the track..

No we have to deserve it. We have a very good side on paper, and 7 riders who are more than capable of increasing there averages.. But the most inportant thing in speedway is no injuries. we get that and we are stuffed, the same as any other team. if they all stay sound and improve like i would expect them to then we will take a lot of beating.

I do also hope that is wrong mate that Ezz has left. What he does is the mark of somebody who is/was throughly professional and takes pride in his work. I would talk to him everytime i go up there and you can see he takes a lot of pride in what he does. Yes he would like better equipment to make life easier for him but he works with what hes got. Ezz always used to get praise for his track prep, but unfortunately riders want more of a say which is not always a good thing, especially when you have a curator like Ezz. Riders are professional sports men and ride many tracks, but rarely will you come across a dangerous track in this country. Remember you cannot prepare a track the same every week, weather conditions depict that, but the curators can only work with whats at there disposal. We at poole have some very good track staff, and they work hard, without them there would be no speedway, and they are fully appreciated. Put it this way you wouldn't tell a Neuro surgeon his job, if its not broke you dont fix it. Good curators and track staff are a god send to speedway, and we need to keep them..

Quite right Steve. Many top line No 1's have a say as to how the track is prepared and watered.. Ezz at Somerset is not the exception. But you do need the right stuff to prepar the track with. Which is usually red shale, it binds better than anything else..

Steve, thank you for the advice. i wont be participating unless its constructive. I cannot afford to get stressed mate.. Im lucky to be alive, and stress could trigger other things.. So far so good. .

Thank you guys thats much appreciated. Like all of us we stick up for our clubs, but end of the day we are a speedway family, and when push comes to shove we back each other. Again thank you both for you kind words. It will be a long road, with many ups and downs, but i will get there. be nice to bump into either of you during the season..

Totally agree mate. Im moving forward, it will take a while. Im a little scared and paranoid at the moment, been the worst 5 weeks of my life, but im enternally greatful it came down heads and not tails. I need to stay away from stress, but in this day and age, its just round the corner. Thank you mate,, roll on October !!

Thank you Aces51. Long way to go yet, many nights are poor, progress on days is good. wouldnt wish this on anybody, but it could have been far worse, for that i am eternally greatful.

I'l tell you what Ray, its the state of british speedway, but i would bet you both riders inprove there averages.

He doesn't have to go awywhere if he doesn't need to.

Yeh the Championship needs to be stonger. But How you do that if we dont have enough quality riders to go round the premier league.

Whys it strange Brum ? Matt does not go out of his way to cheat, if thats what out are incinuating.

Have to agree about James, Matts going for strengh in depth next season.
