  1. No dates have been confirmed as yet but will post when known.but would hope it is sooner rather than later but it is back to the training schools for these lads for now anyway
  2. Hi All I was one of the proud parents who's boys rode at the Norfolk Arena at must admit that Maximum Lad Marc Owen was only head once all evening and that was in heat six when Rhys Naylor flew from the Gate whilst the only rider representing the Bombers Marc and Rhys had a fantastic tussle before Marc eventautly got in front on Lap three Rhys was not content to sit back and let him have it easy and made a last gasp charge to the finish line and there was not much to seperate the Duo as they crossed the finish Line. And would everyone note there were seven lads Who Gave there all please give them the credit they deserve. Brendan Warvill (Ipswich) Jake Knight (King's Lynn) Ashley Morris (Wolverhampton) Adam Portwood (Peterborough) Dale Lamb (Edinburgh) Marc Owen (Sittingbourne) Rhys Naylor (Lakeside) All who took part including parents wish to thank everybody who helped this event happen and a final mention Matty Allitt we missed you get well soon from us all
  3. What a memorable night for 8 lads 4 x 500cc and 4 x 250cc not only taking part but being there when Chris 'Bomber'Harris won as well a good performance by all 8 riders
  4. Hi Parsloes Yes Rhys has a fair cycle Speedway record he actually rode for Great Wakering aged 5 with stablisers but 6 would be about right he rode at all levels including senior matches and was an ever present, age or size did not bother him I can rember one season he rode U10/U12/U14 in a Essex & London series finishing 1st ,3rd and 2nd all in one day , under Denny Winch and Later Darren Cousins also picked up a few titles along the way decided in the Winter of 2005 to have a go a Speedway went to Sittingbourne and has progressed from there he is now looking forward to Cardiff his comment about his demonstrastion race was Dad you said it would never happen but I am there!!!
  5. After seeing seven Lads on 250cc at Scunthorpe(well done Scunthorpe)Who all looked well turned out, they have received no publicity in the Speedway Star which seems to help promote the 80cc Swedish championship why no coverage of the 250cc, they are our lads and need track time to bring them on, but if the the Promoters of British clubs are not aware of these lads they are not going to go forward I am sure that now summer holidays are here there could be the oppotunity to invite these lads to your tracks ie: a second half ride or a pre meeting race how long does one ride take,I am sure if they get a invite they would take the oppotunity.People ask where is our up and coming talent,Well it is well hidden and not promoted,There are some clubs encouraging these youngsters,Eastbourne:Shane Hazelden,Marc Owen,Peterborough:Adam Portwood,Edinburgh:Dale Lamb,Ipswich: Brendan Warvill,Arena Essex:Rhys Naylor,These lads are all at different levels and can be matched accordingly Come on Promotors has your track got time for these lads if only a demonstration of the 250 lets give them the encouragement they derserve, they commited are you???These lads are.Come on you Promoters do'nt be shy give em' a try
