thought we had done this one to death! but here we go again. he is one of the top 12 riders in the world,so obviously has to be in the gp's. -
they should'nt have tried running a traditional end of season meeting so early!
-
my apologies,i did'nt realise everyone who went to cardiff lived a late train ride away. my wife agree's with you about the "roof bit" as she hates getting her hair wet as well!
-
"non locals" made it to bydgoszcz, daugavpils, and plenty of other obscure places, but that does'nt mean it would'nt have been easier to travel to rome, warsaw, prague, stockholm etc
-
not quite sure what your point is!,could you expand?
-
then all power to you south coast. but i am afraid it wont help you tomorrow night.
-
lets hope he is listening, because you will need as much strength as possible, to lift your spirit off the floor, and drag it out of smallmead tomorrow night.
-
i am sure he has,oh and by the way services have increased greatly since the 80's
-
i think cardiff is a fantastic city. its convienience compared with any where else, depends on where you live. but anyone who suggests a major city such as london cannot provide a far superior service is deluding themselves. but then again this is the forum for the deluded!

put it this way subedei, nicholls WILL be offered a place, whether he accepts it or not i could'nt say,but if he does, would you be willing to offer 10/1 on him making the top 8 ? -

to be honest i did'nt know he was so old but the fact remains he has no chance of finishing in the top eight, and i'll happily give you 10/1 on that -

re jagus i am not suggesting he has no future, just that this has come too soon,if i was him or zabik i would be looking to ride in the elite league next year to get some small track experience, next year he will be out of his depth. i agree with you about protasiewicz, richardson and iversen, but think considering his age it would be a mistake to get rid of lindback -

time will tell, however i think for schlein this meeting will come to soon, despite his good performance last week,i also think batchelor and allen will be found wanting. i am convinced it will be a very comfortable home win. -

personally i think that since the world cup,and the rekindling of his spat with andersen,he has looked a lot more determined, and a lot faster, imo if he had'nt broken his collar bone he would have finished in the top 8 -

the point is the powers that be,arguably need nicholls more than he needs the gp's. -

dont assume i am defending scott because he is british,i could'nt give a monkeys how many brits are in the gp's,but think back to how many exciting moments nicholls has given us this year, and then think about protasiewicz, and iversen and what they have contributed, and jagus will give us more of that. -

i can very well, and they were nowhere near the class of mauger, olsen, gundersen, neilsen, penhall etc since i have been watching speedway (mid sixties)there have been seven riders who have at some point been head and shoulders above anyone else, and none of them british. i was to young to properly remember fundin moore and briggs(also not british) and would say that the only two world beaters we have ever had were tom farndon, and peter craven
