  1. Nonsense you have 13 points to play with, wolves should do it without doubt. Past results mean nothing as they weren't 2 legs. Fricke out weakens us more than JT out weakens you. Wolves to lose we all know that. JT is a big loss over 2 legs, especially at monmore. If a full strength Swindon should beat them.
  2. Just hope this is on, on Friday and then we can have rightful finalists. If wolves go through due to a rain off then this year's title is the phoney championship.
  3. Yep it's to stop riders pulling out supposedly injured and a club getting in a guest to suit a track.
  4. Thought doesn't win meetings riders do. Fricke missing severely weakens belle vue it's a huge swing in wolves favor.
  5. Nope we can have a guest as it's an FIM meeting Wolves have won now no Fricke. Good luck in the final.
  6. Thought cause it's an FIM event you could. We got one in KO Cup unless that's different rules. The Swindon match was rearranged so that can't be an issue.
  7. riders contracts run until 31st October. Riders don't leave for Aussie until gone 21st October. Plenty of time. Yep spot on.
  8. BV can run tomorrow and Friday not a problem but do you think wolves want that?? We could of run it last Saturday on a double header with the Colts but do you think wolves would of wanted that? This is the league title were talking about and you wanted it decided by the weather. Might as well give up if that's the case, race for 6 months but if your semi is rained off your out.
  9. Some of the gp tracks are quite technical so the UK is a big bonus. Jason crimp always said riding Belle Vue every week made him a better rider. Zagar also credited riding in the UK improved him to a level of winning GP's.Bad news on JT let's hope for a speedy recovery. I don't think him missing will effect Wednesday too much as wolves already clear favourits with a 13 point lead but it does weaken them for the final big time. Also the KO Cup final.
  10. Better than the dog track absolutely, better than The NSS lol not in a million years.
  11. Yes not acceptable that but not sure wolves fans can say anything, time after time of going to wolves the crowd are shocking, never known a crowd to cheer so much at riders falling off and the laughing. Glass houses and all that. They did cheer when tungate came off until they realised JT had come off as well. If speedway needs cheering when a riders comes off to give atmosphere then it's time to give up. Typical let's ignore the abuse our fans give meeting after meeting and throw stones elsewhere. They cheered tungate crashing before realising their own had come off as well.
  12. Can wolves ride at home on Wednesdays?? Didn't Poole give up the 2nd leg last year as wolves couldn't run the 1st leg on the Wednesday?
  13. Belle vue have had a very good season but even I can see this season has been a farce. More guests and r/r than ever before, the holder and bachelor situations. Monday could be and most probably would be the end for BT sport if the have to try an explain a 4 pointer at number 1. Personally if I was the BSPA id ask wolves to allow BV to use r/r without bjerre being banned.
  14. Now I know we're talking about the BSPA here but surely they can not afford a big play off semi final on TV to go ahead with 1 team having a 4 pointer at number 1. This would be so damaging for British speedway.
  15. It's not an FIM sanctioned event is it? Personally I think bjerre will be at Belle Vue
  16. I think if it is Aces v Wolves then it's too close to call. I think for various reasons we can improve our performance at wolves from last week but I also think wolves can improve from their last visit to the NSS. As for the title itself a couple of weeks ago I didn't feel we had a chance. Our home form wasn't great, cook had gone completely the Fricke got injured and looked out for the season, bjerre had dipped form, and Jack Smith was scoring 0 after 0 at home. But recently things have picked up just in time. Fricke is going to be back (although we don't know if he will be 100%), cook is absolutely flying again and looks his old aggressive self again, bjerre on his new engine was untouchable on Wednesday and Tungate is looking amazing around the the NSS, also Worrall has picked up form agsin after a dip, and in recent meeting Jack Smith has started to pick up some decent points at home. Away a full fit Aces will run any team close, the home form is crucial and it looks as though we might just be clicking at the right time.
