He clearly meant he wasn't enjoying his speedway at the start of 2026 and coming to BV gave him his enjoyment back. Clearly nothing to do with his time at Ipswich. We ha e enjoyed having him as much as he enjoyed being here. Got to have a chat with him Friday night in the Craven suite, throughly nice guy, world class rider and great servant to British Speedway.

What a great night, unbelievable, loved every minute of it. Sell out crowd, wonderful atmosphere in the South stand, great meeting presentation. What an amazing season for the Aces, the most dominant since Ipswich 98 id say. A brilliant team full of average improvers. Untouchable at home and excellent away. Top of the league all season, then 4 out of 4 play off legs. A recored extending 15th top flight title. 54th top flight trophy. Capped off with a full Peter Craven suite to welcome the Champions. What a night last night was. Awesome performance by the Aces, I was worried without PK, but the lads rose to the occasion, Kurtz and Doyle were at their brilliant best, but special mention for Tate who was once again superb, and Zach Cook who had the hardest job of the night and delivered in every race he was in, especially with his excellent heat 14 win. The atmosphere was electric, with nerves excitement and chanting from the Aces faithful. BV v Sheff matches always bring out the best in the fans from both sides IMO. Special praise for the track staff, after the terrible weather the track was in excellent condition, which was great to see. On to Friday now, Aces in the box seat, but cant be complacent, we need to continue how we rode last night and not think its won.

I didnt watch it live, but i haven't seen a single picture yet that shows the wheel was over the line. It was obviously very tight, but not enough for an exclusion.

As I said nobody has an issue with Fricke riding, nobody as mentioned an issue with Fricke Riding, so how are Aces fans covering any bases. As i said Made Up.

My concern with Ipswich is the track shape, its simply not big enough for a GP, if they can make the track bigger than maybe, but im not sure it would offer up great racing as it is. But i wouldn't be against them giving it a try, i think GPs should be shared about, it adds variety and keeps it fresh for everyone.

Ahh so you admit you've basically made it up. As for Mike, he has always hated the guest rule, nothing to do with Fricke.

They certainly wont and i don't blame them, its like every sport, nobody wants the biggest club to keep winning. BV are already so far ahead on title wins, nobody wants number 15 on the board. Id be the same.

What world do you live in Dave, not 1 single Aces fan has mentioned Max Fricke guesting on this thread, not 1. Do you have conversations in your head🤣 As for our poor record, I hope in the final the result at Owlerton is as poor as the last time we were there😉

Nobody was saying that in March. In fact one of the prolific Ipswich posters said Belle Vue would be poor away from home all season, and I remember after we won our first away match at Lynn they stated that would be the last time we won away. Its only 2 Ipswich fans moaning and pretending this season doesn't count because they are going to be knocked out in the semi. Birmingham and Oxford both came up to the prem to be Cannon Fodder so does that dilute the 2025 title win.

The plan was never to have BV having 2 SGPs, remember year 1 was supposed to be BV and Cardiff. The big question is can BV make it worthwhile for 1 GP, due to the cost of the east stand terracing costs.

Car parking shouldn't matter, there must be enough Car parks in Glasgow with transport links. Most big London football teams don't have parking at all. The issue will be stadium capacity to make the GP pay.

As Phil states BV have a 3 year contract, so there will certainly be an SGP in Manchester next season, as there is no way the GP Promotors are buying themselves out of that deal, and why would they want to after 2 successful years. The only caveat I will put on that, is if the 3 year deal was contracted for 1 SGP only, and this year they have only offered BV 1 SGP and we can't make that Pay, we will know soon enough on that one. As for the long term it makes sense, if possible to have more tracks in each country that can hold a GP, Tracks in Poland come and go and come back again on the SGP calendar so why not the UK. If you have Glasgow, Manchester and Ipswich as your 3 tracks, and say we get 2 SGPs per year then you could share that between 2 tracks each year with one track missing out every 3rd year. That would add the variety and keep it spread across the UK to enable more fans to go. I think Glasgow would be good to go (not sure on the Capacity though), but the Ipswich track would need widening, its just to small for a GP IMO and would not give us the top class racing we want to see. Not saying that cant be done, but it certainly needs doing.

Absolute nonsense. Leicester have won the cup and finished 2nd can can win the playoffs Sheffield built a strong team, they will now be paying Max a big sum to ride in the play offs, they can also win it. Lynn built a team good enough to challenge with a GP number 1, for some reason it hasn't worked out. Ipswich could have gone for Doyle at anytime time, they chose not too, BV did, and that's paid off. Lets not pretend this years league is weaker than last year, it isn't. The bottom 2 last year were cannon fodder, Lynn were not much better. This year the last play off place went to the wire. Yes BV ran away with the league phase, but hats based on huge improvements of 3 riders that anyone could have signed over the years, in PK, TZ and Norrick. In fact most on here were slagging off the bottom end of the BV team back in March. It just comes across as massive sour grapes from the 2 or 3 (No more than that) Ipswich fans who were walking around waving their nobs about last season. Grow up.

Cairns is Belle Vue Owned and our RS so he wont be anywhere else.

Im hearing Belle Vue might prefer Semi leg 1 at home.
