On another theme: The End of Season Party has been re-scheduled until 4th November due to the Witches continued involvement in the PL Play Offs. Bookings being taken at the nest home meeting or via the Supporters Club. Like This

No worries, I am pleased that you have found an advantageous place to watch the speedway Kitty And as in it would be good for the Massif to meet Gav after all this time, yes. No I am not around for the 13th but intend to be at the OTA on Friday -

The Massif is inclusive Kitty so do visit Massif End, you will be most welcome And do not be concerned. RH55 is in Turkey preparing for the annual Paragliding Festival in Oludeniz that starts next week. He is a paragliding expert and won many competitions and tournaments around the world and has said that he will paraglide into Foxhall Heath if the Witches make the PLPO Final - and he can find a tall enough hill in Suffolk. We already have one Massif member arranging to sky dive onto the Centre Green for the Final - if the Witches make it. As CL hasn't fulfilled his promise to have some Fan Interaction this season, some of the Massif have taken the bull by the cow bell and are arranging the entertainment themselves. -
Without fog? Always raced at Foxhall in October "back in the day". Wasn't the 1984 Cup Final 2nd Leg on the last Sunday in the month, even after BST had ended? A good time for Halloween on the Heath. Remember a meeting on Good Friday being snowed off too before the evening meeting at Waterden Road was held in bright sunshine. Foxhall micro climate of its own

No obsession, just asking. Are you obsessed about a possible obsession, lol? It won't be Shanes Good stuff Gavan. Will be good to put a face to a name. You will know where the Massif are if you have ears, but back straight opposite the start finish line at the end of the big seating before the break. Just look for balloons and stuff. The "Guest" is busy rebuilding two blown engines as we post -
Very sad news emanating from the West Country today: http://speedwaygb.co/news.php?extend.31405

Champions V Cradley Play Off 1st Leg

No Danyon on Thursday then.... Feel sorry for the lad not just missing the NL Play Offs but the PL ones too with Ipswich (same as Zach of course, but Dan's injury was later in the season). -

No kidding ourselves Cliffeboy as we know we were fortunate to scrape into the Play Offs and that the Rebels won the PL by miles and were unbeatable - at one stage of the season. The Witches Massif Underdogs in this Semi-Final. -

And all riders stay safe. The Rebs have suffered badly recently. Think I have just found out who is at No. 7 for the Witches, but have been asked to keep it under my cat for the time being.... sorry. EDIT: (It does say on the Rebels website: No. 7 TBC (G) .... which would mean a "Guest". -

Absolutely - either that or a 59 years and 361 day old mans attempts at an Emoji, lol Usual question: Will you be gracing us with your presence (and presents) on 14th Gavan? The Massif will be one man down and could do with you swelling Massif End. To right Pob. Who would have thought. eh? All this is a bone arse for the riders and the supporters - and the Club's coffers. Will the Witches be the last 2017 Thread started on here and will the 2016 Thread finish with more posts and views than any other club's - the real important stuff? Looking at those line-ups, it seems obvious that Ipswich are waiting on Danyon's medical report and possible run out tomorrow. If he is ready, do they pull rank and stop him riding for the Brummies on Thursday and give him a go on a track that should suit him? Looking at the Teams listed by LS, the Rebels have picked really well with their Guest Reserves, imo. Branford will be ace around the OTA, kicking off the Turn 2 fence and Tom Bacon has been brilliant every time I have seen him this season, but may be a little knocked about still. If Dynamite Dan is not ready, and no disrespect to CC, I would drop JPB in there at No. 7. Absolutely flying at the moment and full of confidence. -

I can blow smoke out of my backside, does that help? And I can represent an Indian Waiter as you know. But I am not there on 13th so, over you you guys for themes, if one is required the nearer we get to the Withching Hour of Halloween? Plenty of accessories to be picked up from mine or dropped off to help the Party keep going though. PS - can no one else really see the hieroglyphics, Rob...... -

I would too, but I can't read. As someone once said, if a man cannot laugh at himself, he can no longer laugh. Translation for the intellectually challenged like me please baldy as I didn't study hieroglyphics at school. EDIT: Oh, your symbol things didn't copy in the quote? Does that mean I am the only one who can see them? Spooky. -

Very true and I am so chilled I can't feel my toes - or is that the arthritis? Trouble is, sometimes, when you go with the flow, you end up being washed out of the effluent pipe. -

Totally agreed my friend. And very happy for others to offer an opinion, etc. just not actually sure whether this is the one and only Thread for the Play Off Semi Final between Somerset and Ipswich or whether there will be a separate one started for each Meeting. In my opinion, Ipswich will lose by Eight at the OTA and win by Sixteen or more at Foxhall - that's not getting splinters in my ass. Slainte. -

Thanks coomie. Lets just hope there are no more injuries suffered by either side. (Still trying to work out if this a First Leg Thread, a Second Leg Thread, an Overall Thread or just a general chit chat Thread...)
