  1. Anytime time I ask my non- speedway mates if they would like to come along to the speedway all I get in return is 'I'm no going to watch bikes going round in a circle' despite my telling them there is a lot more to it than that they simply don't get it. I believe you either like speedway or you don't Sorry I forgot its just The Rangers
  2. Well done Dennis! Does Sunday mean that Berwick Rangers are now the big gers and The Rangers well erm err err ER.........
  3. Which is the whole point of the reduced admission. In the main the problem I have is that the promotion are preaching to the converted, still no too sure what other avenues of advertising they went with and this has to be one of the hardest seasons Berwicks have had. Not sure what more you can do after turning up to every home meeting. Concerning times really.
  4. There lies the problem, Alden suffers from Rymelitis. He's fantastic to watch when he's in the right mood and all is ok like in the fours final but when things go against him he ain't the kind of rider to put in a gritty performance and seems to throw the toys out the pram, this is the real frustration because Seb is obviously a very talented rider he just doesn't seem to be able to be consistent. When talking about 2013 if it became a straight choice between Ricky and Seb I'd prefer Ricky every time .
  5. He was truly awful last night at Berwick, was way off pace in all of his rides and cost Rye a point
  6. Completely agree, once again swc week provides us with the best racing, action and entertainment. Hopefully all talk of Prague is just hearsay for 2013 and bsi take note and take the swc to some of europes better racetracks
  7. Glad someone agrees. Sadly there is no quick fix to get results we all want but unless gb starts giving the young ones a chance gb will end up struggling in the qualifiers anyway
  8. Ok so Middlo keeps picking the old brigade and gb Finnish last anyway without giving other riders a chance to learn
  9. Maybe it is ludicrous but according to you team selection is based on what a rider does abroad? I did answer your question.
  10. Really? Harris in the top 8 of the gps then? Has he qualified for the GP challenge?
  11. All of which could've backfired on Denmark, I do agree about more and more teenagers to up to international level quickly. I would rather have a few years of lesser success in terms of qualification and get the young Brits the experience of racing the Swc qualifiers and see where it takes team gb
  12. If you apply that science then Harris should not have been picked because he has been woeful in the Gps
  13. Completely agree with you, time to give some of the younger Brits a chance yet some on here seem content to continue with Nicholls who lets face it is a rider on the way down from the world stage
  14. Barker, Auty, Worrall(ok he's injured) Roynon, Lawson, Mear, Bridger
  15. You can't say that for sure when we didnt get the chance to see them in action, time to give the younger brigade the chance otherwise they never going to get the experience
  16. If that's as good as it gets you can call the team England all you want they are shockingly terrible. As long as Middlo persists in picking riders on a downward spiral England as you like to call them will call making the playoff a success
  17. Just about recovered from a truly awesome weekend! Was great to catch up with bluejam and BongoBrian. To all the Monarchs supporters that me and the rest of the wee group of Bandits fans travelled with you were fantastic company and finally to meet up with Henka and his group was a fine finnish to a superb weekend.
  18. Hi Mateusz, i have sent you a PM with a order. Many Thanks.
  19. Nicholls not at his best, Steady just never at the races, Richardson made some silly mistakes when in front, Bomber fluffing the Joker, Rob Lyon choosing the wrong race for the joker(given the amount of race winners from gate 2 previous to that). After Kings Lynn i had some hope for Vojens despite knowing it would be more of a gate and go kind of track after seeing the race-off. I think Rob Lyon is the right man for the job but on the day i think he made 2 errors, first of all the team selection, now Simon Stead done an excellent job at Kings Lynn but surely after seeing the track conditions at the Race-Off the alarm bells must've been going off, slick track gating vitally more important than ever, maybe Danny King would've been a better choice. Simon Stead is a racer, never has been a gater, nothing against him at all i just think King would've been a better choice. Secondly the Tac Joker ride, now surely as a manager you have to get the best out of your team as individuals and collectively, with that in mind to get the best out of the joker ride you have to try and give your best rider the best gate in order to maximize the chances of 6pts so to give Harris the impossible task of making a start of gate 2 just beggars belief. Finally does anybody else agree that on the World stage 'some' of Team GB need to make their presence felt in the first corners more
  20. Staying in the Newport area before the GP and there is an outside chance i could get to the Pairs at Somerset, however looking at the Speedway GB website in the fixture column it says that Newport v Weymouth is on but that Newport are also at Mildenhall the very same night?? Was hoping to go to some Speedway on the Friday night, even if i cant make it to the pairs. Cheers. GM.
  21. Best of luck for today Dale, read the snippet in todays scottish sun with interest. GM.
