Excellent, will look forward to seeing you and all the other 'true fans' at every home and away Bees and Storm match next year. Yep, didn't think so. You'll be too busy posting to attend a meeting. The point is, there won't be anything to save at the end of the season. The way the sport and team are being run is completely justifying Sandhu's decision to flatten the place.
-
Ha ha, they're all to blame. Read posts properly. One year to closure. Enjoy your tin pot title Mr Angry!
-
All 8 promoters that haven't got a clue how to run a strong collective product that has a hope in hell of surviving. Yes, even your beloved Matt is to blame. Still, we're lucky. One year to closure. Bring it on.
-
. I think the point is that he'll be a heat leader by default regardless of performance, as everyone in the team other than Harris is crap.
-
Whilst Poole fans probably find it amusing, the gravity of the situation is that we now have a position where Poole will not lose a single meeting all season. A top 5 of Holder, Watt, Buck, Andersen and Kurtz will give them 4 riders better than most teams no 1s. I suppose an unbeaten season is all they've got left to 'achieve' though to be fair.
-
Fair do's. Thought we were talking about benefitting from another teams demise. In 2010 we certainly benefitted from being crap for the first two months.
-
Not sure how Coventry benefitted in 2010? Assume you mean 2007 when Johnston replaced Risager?
-
Buczkowski should be a heat leader but Poole are on the fiddle. Buster has his first rumpus to resolve at BSPA towers apparently. Out of interest, does anyone know who rode the most meetings as a heat leader out of King and Kylmakorpi? Surely only one of them should be on the heat leader list?
-
We're closing down next year anyway. Problems don't come much larger than that. It's a crap signing but what can you do? Only Doyle will have a higher starting ave so plenty of guest options! Several. I've seen him ride numerous tracks up and down the country. I went to 70 meetings last year. I'm one of the daft sods that pays to go and watch this stuff!
-
Have you ever seen Kyle Howarth at Monmore? The only track he rides worse is King's Lynn.
-
You'd think so, but apparently Buczkowski is being fiddled in as a second string according to Horton at a supporters club meeting the other night.
-
There is a misconception amongst Poole fans that they are hated for the right reasons. I don't think any fan generally gives a monkeys how many times Poole win it to be honest. It's the politics and back handed corruption that are getting people down.
-
But you're comparing chalk with cheese. Football is a multi million pound business. For a tin pot sport like speedway there does need to be a collective pull towards ensuring the strength and survival of the few remaining Elite League clubs, otherwise you literally will have no one to race against in a few years.
-
You're actually your own worst enemy with your posts. Do you not think that the fact that you, and every other poster on here, already knowing that Poole will win the 2016 Elite League is a problem? For a League to be taken seriously, and worth winning, there has to be at least the illusion of competition.
-
Lol. He bought his fishing rod back from Rome as well folks! Jason is very safe. Always wears goggles when he races.
-
Nope. It's the rest of the team everyone is worried about.
-
Harris signs
-
He 'rode' for Coventry in 2013, although you can be forgiven for forgetting his shambolic and insulting displays. He'd have been burnt at the stake in Ole Olsen's day!
-
To be fair, there is little point breaking the bank when the club is doomed at the end of the season anyway. Always suspected that Horton was brought in as a cooler to try and make as many people as possible lose interest before the owners flatten the place, and that is proving to be accurate. Couple that with the fact that there isn't even the illusion of competitiveness in the EL and you have a pretty bleak picture. The relief that the end will bring will be palpable.

A friendly Pole will no doubt assist in streaming the GPs to our PCs. As many have said, you can probably skip 10 rounds and miss very little. Just watch Gorzow and Torun. -
We've known all this for weeks. We knew Sarj was going to be in Tier 1. What we also knew was that he didn't need protecting as none of the other 7 teams were going to pick him as their Tier 1 rider because, let's face it, why the hell would they!? The Bees only motive for moving Garrity out of the draft appeared to have been because they had a plan of obtaining a decent Tier 1 rider. Sadly it's all gone to pot.
-
Nobody has an issue with Sarj or Bates, merely the fact that they have both ended up in the same team. It looks like only Lakeside will be weaker, leaving us vulnerable in every match, and certainly leaving those of us that like to watch the team away from home facing some real hammerings.
-
Congrats on completely missing the point. Nobody has mentioned Garrity as everyone knew he wasn't in the draft. People are more concerned that we, apparently, overlooked an experienced club asset and signed a vulnerable looking reserve pairing. Our pairing is in the original spirit of the draft, but that won't help us when we're anchored to 7th, just above Lakeside.
-
The only way one of this pair will get out of reserve is if we re-sign Jamrog.
-
Knowing the way Leicester is run we'll find out what their team is about half an hour before their first meeting.
