Both riders will be very lucky to get a team slot & this is where speedway gets it so wrong.
-
No team place in any league for Stefan & slots are filling up fast.

Ford couldn't stop Chris once he didn't use him. -
Bet the pages were stuck together when you finished with it😉😉

It's hard being a 40 year old plus batchelor on the South coast especially when you can't sell the speedway star in the winter months. -

Disagree as Poole are the standout team & would need a bigger job of bottling it than last season not to win with ease in 2017. -
Hope he does get fixed up as did a decent job last season when to much was expected of him.
-
With Brady in your team it would be a disaster if you don't p.ss the league & serious questions would need to be asked. The use of Premier League averages has given you a 5 point bonus from Brady's, Kyle & Klindt's Elite League 2016 averages. If that line up was a team I supported I'd be over the moon & booking my play off final tickets now. A very very very very poor mans version of Darcy & Chris & actually don't think they will be the future of Poole as there will be plenty of better riders than those 2 in the future. All opinion though of course.
-
Got to be Gomolski as Ford promised him a team place for 2017 when he left him out of the 2016 line up. Anything else would mean he goes back on his word.
-
He was never going to ride in this country no matter what average he'd come in on. Yet more good publicity for Ford for a nothing story.
-
That only works if no-one quotes his posts as then they still come up.
-
No-one is questioning the club going with Jason & hopefully the other signings will back him up at home because crowds will drop if they don't.
-
Meanwhile so many clubs have gained by being allowed to use Premier League(rolling) averages for riders when they all had Elite League for 2016 anyway. Swindon were daft not to have Rosco at the AGM rather than the good but new Mike Bowden. I am constantly amazed how these idiots get things confused year after year.
-
It is but I've followed this sport for over 40 years & it still seems daft.
-
Never seen BWD ride but the madness that he will be a reserve in a lower supposed league & a 2nd string for us☹️️. U really hope Rosco doesn't do a double header with Poole over Easter as it could be a massacre.
-
What a cock up all round with the rider announced on the BSPA web-site as well. That said I think it's the correct decision with the 1.4 average. A Robins side that consists of 3 Premier League reserves from 2016 & the no1 rider from the team that finished bottom. Let's hope Rosco doesn't have a Easter double header vs. Poole as it could be an embarrassing score line.
-
Not with a team I meant Steve, sorry if that didn't come across that way.
-
The plan is to have one big league ASAP & like you say some teams will be touch & go on whether they can afford the team they are putting out. I can't see fans coming flocking back but something had to be done & despite all the bull about getting the top riders back it isn't going to happen. Apart from Chris Holder there was no other top rider who wanted to ride here with the Poles bringing in their restrictions.
-
I imagine they will once something is confirmed by the people who matter & not the 40 year old batchelor group from the South Coast😉😉
-
Heard that no other team could get near what he is getting paid & will be on a very good bonus if they get to the play offs, more if they make the final & more still if they win it. Nothing wrong with incentives on my eyes though so fair play to Bomber.
-
Think Bomber will be ok with the deal he has at Rye regardless of how many points he scores.
-
Such a shame this forum is getting dragged down these days.
-
Come on everybody just put the multi poster & all it's various names on ignore & then it can have a thread of it's own.
-
I actually am starting to look forward to next season & some close racing. Hope it won't be long until we have one big league.
-
Poole & Rye House will also have the biggest wages as well if the money Bomber is on is correct. You either live within your means & pay what you can or put the club at risk.
