  1. Agree with some of the points on here, especially the one about PL clubs getting big events, they should always be given to the top EL teams, they are there for a reason. Would you ever see big football matches being hosted at a 2nd tier team like Scunthorpe, for instance? The point about a PL manager doesn't really stand as he may just be seen as the best man for the job, although he wasn't that last year.
  2. Poland Denmark Russia Czech GB Sweden Australia Finland Denmark Sweden Australia Russia Poland Denmark Sweden GB
  3. I'm not totally sure about only the top 5 qualifying for next years series, that would leave a fair amount of the field coming from the GP challenge. My problem with this, if a rider was to take part in the qualifiers and scrape the last qualifying position on each meeting, are they really a better candidate than a rider who finished 6th in the GPs but didn't take part in the qualifiers? Yes, they should have taken part in the qualifying meetings, fair enough, but they have shown they are the 6th best rider over a GP season.
  4. I assume you're going off this link - http://www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/sport/8235792.Speedway__Watt_in_line_for_shock_GP_debut/ If so, I wonder how true it could be, they have Sajfutdinov down as a totally different injury so who knows how good the rest is.
  5. I wouldn't want any of Stead/King/Barker as the 5th rider. Richardson, Nicholls, Woffinden and Harris seem shoo-ins, but of the rest nothing stands out.
  6. What system needs to be changed? You didn't have to drop a British rider as far as i'm aware? A shame for Sarjeant.
  7. Would not include Harris or Lindgren after the past couple of years, Woffinden seems to be getting better but still not sure he is good enough to be right up there just yet. I'd definitely give Holder or Pedersen a WC if either misses the top 8.
  8. Agree with that totally as thats how it comes across, never really appealed to me.
  9. 1. Jason CRUMP £50,000 12. Chris HOLDER £35,000 5 Andreas JONSSON 45,000 13. Jaroslaw HAMPEL £25,000 8. Kenneth BJERRE £35,000 (Captain) Will go with that, if its alright.
  10. I guess its against the rules to take out Pedersen and Crump and replace them with Crump and Gollob?
  11. I hope Sweden do go with that team, Jonsson, Nermark and Lindback will be great to watch.
  12. A nicer man you could not wish to meet.
  13. Just the top team that goes through? Hopefully Germany are through too, bit boring seeing the same riders.
  14. Can we now start nominating, Ballinger? If so i'll go with Nicki Pedersen, cheers.
  15. I can't imagine he's ever been there, least I don't thinkso?
  16. http://soccer-live.pl/transmisje.php?id=motorsport Think 'Public Sport 1' is a TV channel?
  17. Decent bet when he'll probably get at least 6 rides, as is Hampel over 10. Woffinden and Zetterstrom over 3 might also be good.
  18. Where does the winner go through to?
  19. Hampel E/W at 10/1, he is a Leszno rider, I believe?
  20. 1. Jason CRUMP £50,000 (Captain) 12. Chris HOLDER £35,000 6. Nicki PEDERSEN £45,000 13. Jaroslaw HAMPEL £25,000 8. Kenneth BJERRE £35,000 Think thats 190k. Thanks.
  21. I agree with you on your last point. If a rider is given a wildcard and doesn't qualify through the top 8 or through the Qualis. I don't believe they should be taken into consideration for the next years WC spots. Unless of course, circumstances went against them perhaps? Ie. Injuries.
