  1. If the weather holds out then I can't see this being an easy match for the Robins. The recent changes at Kings Lynn, whilst appearing to make them weaker on paper, have brought about a team that now have a real point to prove and will race for every single point on offer. I'd like to think we're capable of a win, but I wouldn't be too disappointed with a point. Doyley should go untroubled and Morris looked very quick last time we were there.
  2. And yet you do it so well. I think the Pirates will be up for this tonight.....will go for a 48-42 to the Robins
  3. I've previously asked this question of Mr Russell, Sponsorship is there for anyone to bring in, always has been.
  4. Along with winning home and away against table topping Belle Vue without our own No.1......our luck is obviously well in at the moment
  5. Why would there be opposition from within the sport? Surely this would be seen as a good thing and get the Club out of a track sharing situation? Good luck with it all
  6. From Championship to Premiership I believe is now a 1.2 coversion, which is probably why Kasprzak's average has the same conversion on his 2017 meetings to date as he hasn't done 4 home and 4 away to achieve a 'proper' 2017 average. Richie, I assume, will be on his Championship average/1.2
  7. I don't think there's a reduction....both Zengota and now Kasprzak reverted back to their old EL averages under the 42 point limit from what I can see?
  8. Thanks, taking a closer look, the columns on the Swindon averages look a little out - one out on column A & C
  9. http://sport.bt.com/speedway/bt-sport-reveals-summer-speedway-fixtures-and-talent-line-up-S11364170737007
  10. Am I correct in thinking that the most recent away meetings at Wolves & Kings Lynn won't count towards the next set of averages.....it will be based on 4h & 4a only?
  11. He'll be on Belle Vue's retained list unless he's been sold.....so should be riding for Belle Vue
  12. Zach would be riding for Swindon as NL has no priority
  13. It's an interesting one. So the team would be fine if declared at the start of the season in the NL or trophy, but is illegal due to riders increasing their averages through the season? So the alternative is that other NL Trophy teams can have riders improving throughout to a league average (usually higher than 39) but Swindon should be capped at a starting average each time they race?
  14. Manuel Hauzinger....had a great debut beating Scott Nicholls and scoring 8 points (having replaced Theo Pijper) but tailed off after that if I remember correctly.
  15. Again, only for a No.1 or double upper according to the rules. 2-5 (non double upper) reads as R/R only
  16. Tough one to call, heart says a Robins win, head looks at the Belle Vue side and thinks we could be in trouble. Will need Doyley & Morris to be on it with the rest providing solid back up. Would've like to see Justin in Robins colours again this year, I hope it's a decision that doesn't come back to bite us on the backside! I'll go with the heart - 47-43
  17. I understand the point and you may know better than I do about an unwillingness of BSPA to cooperate. But at that point I would make it a BSPA failing all round rather than a GoSpeed failing. If not a failing, then perhaps a keenness to hang onto those rights with the hope of doing something with them?
  18. Anyone from outside the circle can apparently as well.....they're hardly going to turn it down are they?!
  19. I've highlighted the key part.....they hold them as much as anybody else does, on a non-exclusive basis. Any Promoter is entitled to bring a League sponsor to the table if there is one out there. I had a conversation on this very topic with someone who would know at Swindon
  20. GoSpeed have exclusive rights to broadcasting......very different to having exclusive rights to market British Speedway......they do not control sponsorship of Clubs or Leagues
  21. Do you know that they haven't, or are you assuming as you so often do? Do you know what plans are afoot for the season's TV coverage and promotion of those events?
  22. Wolves Kings Lynn Poole Rye House Swindon Coventry Leicester Somerset
  23. Average ball in play time is closer to 60 mins for Premier League football.....still a valid point though
