  1. Aww Hans excluded. Alan the 'bonus points' coming into the meeting are NOT attached to the race points, unless i've got it totally wrong and i give up forever on Danish speedway.
  2. Hans Andersen tac sub in this heat i heard the commentators confirm it Cheers Alan too.
  3. To paraphrase 'manchesterpaul' R&R you are RIGHT AGAIN lol. Thank you.
  4. Your post confirms my suspicions and i'd certainly go with whatever you've seen and written down. I really don't think there has been a single meeting all season wrong where he hasn't messed up. Lol Have you got time to quicky scribble out the results by helmet colours so i can get back on track during the break in racing hee hee. And forward a copy to graphics man.
  5. I think graphics man is on a roll again, possibly confirmed by commentators mentioning the word too and i swear i saw graphics changing in front of my eyes as in previous weeks. I was in the other room for two more of the heats and have relied on him for the scoring Uh Oh? The racing is good in parts but would love to know if i can trust the scoreline the tv is showing.
  6. Looking at the timing of your post 775 it wasn't there when i started my post. I know it's timed just four minutes before but coupling with the failing to load of the slow forum and the fact i went away to answer the phone during it explains why i didn't see it. Besides my main points stand i was going on your post today which is the only one i saw and it was in the words of Danish Webmaster WRONG AGAIN! lol lol. Anyway let's get on with watching the racing. I missed the end of heat three as well because the doorbell rang geeeee lol. So i got to rely on the graphics man for the score noooooooooo lol. I was snug as a bug in a rug at home fortunately and didn't end up standing around watching that suspicious farce, watched it on tv instead lol.
  7. R&R are you for real? The racecard i put online this morning is CORRECT I just came home and looked at the thread and saw your post which had the WRONG line-ups so i hastily rushed out that version just in case. So to paraphrase Danish Webmaster R&R YOU ARE WRONG AGAIN! One must note and ask the question again as to which is the case when...Is it a case that this club fails to inform official and media sources of late changes? or do they inform them and for some reason nobody bothers to update their alterations alone! It just beggars belief the number of times their changes are never conveyed in other media outlets Very poor administration Anyway on to the speedway a great stream again indeed
  8. LATE UPDATE RACECARD ADDITION Once again there are conflicting press releases regarding the Holsted line-up. Out of eleven official Danish sources ten agree on the Holsted team with Patrick Hougaard riding at number two Nikolai Kindt riding at number three. Unfortunately, once again the Holsted site alone differs. Theirs is the opposite to all the other official Danish sources, clubs and media, they have the two riders reversed. The expected thing to do might be to go with the majority of the ten official sources. However, in the past when the Holsted line-up published on their site is at odds with the others it has been the correct line-up! Is it a case that this club fails to inform official and media sources of late changes? or do they inform them and for some reason nobody bothers to update their alterations alone! It just beggars belief the number of times their changes are never conveyed in other media outlets So you can choose to go with the first version with Klindt at number two and if it is changed then there is plenty of space for you to scribble in the heat alterations. Alternatively version two has Hougaard at number two. Alas, not the greatest administration by our Danish friends. 9. Ok i've managed to cobble together a racecard with what are the official line-ups including two published changes to the teams. It's a first attempt at this meeting so no guarantees - it's a Beta version lol lol - but it 'should' be correct if the various official sources are correct. As ever with Danish meetings you may well be advised to hold back until later in the day to download in case of any further late team changes which i will update when i arrive home in the afternoon. The card includes the championship points explanations and grid to tally them up. It's the basic version so print as a match programme on two pages or on both sides of a single sheet of paper. I'll add a MiniMax formatted Grid version for next season. I'd imagine DW has his standard grid version available for those who prefer only that type. 10. Lol hee hee.......Well he shouldn't have pinched part of my 'UNIQUE and etc. etc. etc.' without giving any credit or acknowledgement lol. I'm pretty sure he wouldn't deprive the Danish and wider speedway public information just to irk someone lol. I've already got all the info i need and am putting together a card at the moment. Incidentally, i've just had a glance at six different weather forecasts and they all show some of the wet stuff, but mainly showers or light rain with nothing heavy at the moment being predicted.
  11. Cheers mate we will, definitely looking forward to the Danish final. Hope you enjoying your tour of America and don't forget if you meet a L.A. Woman in a Whisky Bar to Love Her Madly lol.
  12. I've checked 11 sources (9 of them Danish) and 10 of them all give the same line-ups for Holsted. The one exception and i'm sure regular followers of this thread will have guessed it......the Holsted site! They have Nikolai Klindt riding at number two and Patrick Hougaard riding at number three. That is the opposite to all the other official Danish sources, clubs and media. Is it a case that this club fails to inform official and media sources of late changes? or do they inform them and for some reason nobody bothers to update their alterations alone! If anybody comes across confirmation that Klindt and Hougaard have swapped riding order can they please give confirmation or a link. One presumes that the Holsted line-up on their own site will be the actual team. It just beggars belief the number of times their changes are never conveyed in other media outlets.
  13. Thanks for your help. Thanks for that info. Is Leon injured? At first glance i thought it's a big body blow for Slangerup but Miroslav has ridden two matches for them and finished in the top two in nine rides out of ten. Although i think Leon would be the preferred choice so it's not likely it's a tactical change?
  14. First of all many thanks and your answer is much appreciated by many i'm sure. Fortunately, most people in other countries speak two languages with English being the main second language. Goodness Me! I don't think any of the translators i used would have come up with deciphering that format successfully lol. So, as an example, if on the day the teams in the meeting finish Slangerup, Holsted, Fjelsted, Esbjerg then they'd all have four points and the finishing order in the final is the tiebreaker? - although a run-off would be necessary to determine meeting places if teams are level on race meeting points. UPDATE: Just read this on the Fjelsted site that confirms exactly that "Further, the rule that if two teams together have equal points after the final, the winner will be one of the two teams that have performed best in the finals. This means that if the final example gives exactly the opposite result of the initial series, all all four teams having 4 points, but Slangerup will be declared the winner." I know UK speedway has more than it's share of crazy rules and formats for competitions but you Danes are giving us a run for our money lol. Bad enough a season long league running pairs in a heat turns into a one rider per race format, but the final serves up a very manufactured result that like all play-off systems disregard the efforts of a team over a season. I was going to publish a racecard myself but the format i see listed in the 2013 regulations shows 22 heats and not 23 as you refer to (always presuming it is the grid for the final) Do you know the order the teams line up or when/if it will be made public ahead of the meeting? I can do a racecard if it's confirmed that it's actually the 22 heats listed in the regulations below and the team race order isn't kept secret ahead of the meeting lol. http://www.dmusport.... 08 2013web.pdf 9.9 Dansk Speedway Liga – Slutspil Fire holds matcher. 22 heats køreskema Blanket S4.26 Heatformat: Kører nr. / startposition 9.9 Danish Speedway League - Playoff Four teams' matches. 22 heats run scheme Form S4.26 Heat Format: Driver numbers / starting position Heat nr. But probably quite likely such an imbalance could exist, after all it's speedway so why have uniformity lol. In the UK Elite League teams don't even race against each other an even number of times to it's eternal shame!
  15. I think this is all still quite ambiguous. Hopefully Peter S can come back to us to clarify once more? If he's not around and nobody else can confirm what's what i'll try grab time myself tonight or more likely tomorrow to chase down references to last season's meeting. Although confusion reigned last year with Danish TV, Danish media (speedway and general) and UK speedway media having conflicting statements regards to how the final was scored and league decided. After R&R appealed for information on the format the other day i replied with... Peter S, or any Danish member can you clarify this part as it seems contradictory 4-2-1-0 points are brought into the final. Points in the final are 4-3-2-0. Also 4-2-1-0 points are brought into the final. 'Final' as in reference to the meeting, or a 'final' race in the meeting? Points in the final are 4-3-2-0. 'Final' as in reference to the meeting, or a 'final' race in the meeting? What is correct? R&R has ended his sentence with a question. Maybe it's just the way i'm reading it but i'm not 100% sure if they are match points as R&R seems to be asking for confirmation. What is losing me is the earlier seemingly contradictory statement of "4-2-1-0 points are brought into the final. Points in the final are 4-3-2-0." Do any of the above refer to points awarded in each heat??? Many thanks in advance of any further assistance with this.
  16. Lol such a long time ago i getting them all mixed up but....without a shadow of a doubt i DO mean he looks like James Hetfield from Metallica.
  17. All in all an enjoyable GP which i thought deserved more comments. Lol Hampel you so going to be bleeped in the repeats.
  18. Superb heat 20 Gate stats ahead of the draw Points & Wins Gate 1 ~~~ 43 ~~~ 11 Gate 2 ~~~ 29 ~~~ 4 Gate 3 ~~~ 18 ~~~ 1 Gate 4 ~~~ 30 ~~~ 4
  19. Loving the happy faces and dancing in the crowd, it's all a little different to a standard UK meeting where most of the faces portray themselves as being seconds away from execution lol. Rare disagreement with you, i think it's quite enjoyable. Ouch and how did i forget to put Chris Holder into the mix! 2014 Holder, Sayfutdinov, Woffinden, Ward, Hampel sheer quality. (Pedersen and Iversen too) Great racing and win by Zagar there.
  20. Tai refusing to calmly accept second in that race and his efforts tonight seem to show he's making a point that even if Emil was here he's the rider about to rightfully claim the crown. Really do like the previous four heats recaps during the breaks on Eurosport.
  21. Ummmm! yeah i was. I labelled him as Fred Durst from Linkin Park when i had in mind James Hetfield from Metallica lol.
  22. Awww thought Zagar was going to get that at the start. Unless i getting my bands mixed up he's one step closer to the edge and he's about to break lol. Heat 10 stunning line-up Truly a great win by Tai there. Only downside is i had hoped that Sky had copyrighted the awful "Woofy Woofy Woofy" and Pearson wouldn't be allowed to use it on Eurosport lol.
  23. Yeah, sorry i didn't clarify but i meant the fact that speedway is getting exposure on a very popular channel via Eurosport broadcasts during the speedway season. So when people see that a SGP is being staged in their vicinity they are more likely to attend than previously. Yayyy! nice to see good racing. Yikes! Matej big things expected of you tonight dontcha know? On paper the next heat is Hampel's easiest of the night. And as per mischievous mention he duly gets beat into third. I think the only reason why the title isn't being conceded by the other riders to Tai is with his battling racing instinct he's always prone to the risk of injury. I so wanted Emil to win this year but Tai like Darcy would be a worthy racing champ. Geez come on peeps there is enough action going on to be making comments lol.
  24. I'm sure there is some sort of Eurosport effect going on that is positively increasing crowd levels. Possibly speedway is getting more eyes cast on it with Eurosport generally not being as expensive as each country's version of Sky Sports? They certainly trailer the sport far better than Sky ever did and repeat showings help. Most sports fans will be watching their own favourite sport at peak viewing hours and day so the fact that someone channel hopping during the week can come across our sport is very good indeed. Drip, drip, drip effect means we could be seeing a big upturn in the SGP over the next couple of seasons.
