  1. Narp! Wouldn't worry, they'll arrive! Wherebouts you sitting?
  2. MrsHorneyH reckons this is Karma on Gollob for missing the last race in Peterboro'
  3. Whats the problem with that? Can't see the harm...
  4. I don't mind 'Nige' to be honest, must be difficult keeping up enthusiasm during boring SKY meetings!
  5. Best wishes to Mrs P! Tatum, Louis and Moley doing a great job!
  6. FECK! Can't believe we might throw this away now!
  7. Meeting up with mates you only see once per year to get drunk and have a rayt good laff You know who you are Badgers!!! oh, and the speedway, atmosphere yadda yadda yadda
  8. As ever, Lavernock camp site in Penarth. For anyone else staying there, they have bumped the bloody prices up, 10 quid, per person, per night, rip off. Still probably cheaper than a hotel
  9. You need to use the Dotpay facility on the website to pay with credit card. It doesn't make it that obvious that that is what you need to do. You'll be directed to a different website, takes a little while but easy enough.
  10. Yes mate, just booked and paid for 8 tickets, sector A, stand 3, paid on credit card Roll on October
  11. Agreed with all of that, but the stadium is easy to find (get a free map from the tourist info place in the main square) and about a 20 minute walkfrom the main square. We sat on the 1-2 bend this year and the view of the track was pretty bad, we are going to try to get tickets for seats just before the first bend, that looked better. Its a great weekend away, would highly recommend it!
  12. Hi Bruno, This year I paid in full in September at the end of my stay. The nightly rate is a bit more than advertised on their site as it is GP weekend, but its still good value. The hotel has emailed me to confirm my reservation for next year and have not asked for any money so I assume its the same deal We'd love to have a few beers with anyone staying there next year, there'l be 4 of us, me, the missus and her mum and dad, keep an eye out for us
  13. Mark, we stayed there this year for 5 nights and had a great time, we didn't find that iot was a really lively place but there are enough bars to keep you going in Tyskie, Zwyiech or whatever your tipple is... For food I would recommend either Sami Suare (spelling?) or roosters (foods OK but the service is something else ) in the main square We stayed at the Hotel Focus which is about 40 minute walk from the main square, or a couple of quid in a taxi, its clean, cheap and the breakfast is pretty good, would recommend it, in fact already booked a couple of rooms there again for next october. Again, we had a great time, made loads of new mates and already looking forward to next October... hope this helps Mick
  14. yes they are, booked ours over the weekend. Had huge trouble getting my payment accepted, in the end had to go through the swiss RyanAir website (as its in English) as the English one was too busy, managed to get it done that way!
  15. Cool, this seems definitly the way to go, rather than trying to order over the internet
  16. I was assured by Jo at BSI when I spoke to her on the phone(she was the one who put me onto Magda) that the GP's rarely completely sell out and you can buy general admission tickets (standing) on the day, or day before. The easiest way is to email her, this is how I contacted her, I was told that she is the English speaking person at the stadium. Her English in the emails was probably better than mine! Try this email address: biuro@polonia.bydgoszcz.pl Hope this helps Mick
  17. She told me this as well, but when I asked if I could pay with euro's or sterling, as my bank wouldn't transfer in PLn, she said she would ak her boss again. She wrote back saying I could pay on collection. I am only collecting 2 tickets though. It may be different because of the amount of tickets you are buying???
  18. Best bet is to contact the stadium direct, either by phone or email. If you call, then ask for Magda, she is english speaking. They will reserve the tickets for pick up either on the day or day before GP and you can pay with cash on pick up. I've managed to get 2 tickets no problems this way. Details of the stadium can be found on the SGP website. cheers Mick
  19. We camp every year at a place called lavernock point, about 15 minute bus ride from cardiff. Get yerself a tent and come join the party. As for drinking, wherever you can get to the bar!
