Kiitos F-S-P! I can remember that meeting being screened on Eurosport! What is the stadium normally used for? Trotting Racing?? Hopefully the speed skating arena may one day get the green light and jaa speedway will get the chance to return to Helsinki...

When was the last time ice-racing was staged in Helsinki and where was the track in the city? I know it's unlikely there will be any meetings there in the near future but would like to check out the track location on my next trip to Finnish capital!! Over to you F-S-P!

I live in Workington and haven't seen anything locally about a start date or even confirmation of this meeting And with Comets racing that same day and the night before at Derwent Park v Berwick it will hit crowd numbers...can anyone else confirm it is definitely on?

Do any of our Swedish members know if Sweden will still stage 2 GPs in 2010 and if any dates have been fixed yet? I think I read somewhere that Goteborg will be a definite but what about Malilla? Is it likely to be retained as a venue(depite the rain!)? I need to know dates as soon as possible please to plan leave from work in 2010!! Thanks in advance

Laughable to call it the Nordic GP unless the Wildcard was truly representative of the Nordic title and it went to someone like Finland's Kauko Nieminen or even Joonas Kylmakorpi. Might have well just called it GP of Jutland

Just checked the ticket tracker on the Seetickets.com website and it now says mine have been despatched, didn't say that at lunchtime. So relying on my postwoman to have them through my letterbox for Saturday as travelling down from Cumbria on the Monday and post never usually delivered until the afternoon!!

Think Warsaw team rode at the Gwardia football stadium near the centre of Warsaw but they dropped out of the 2nd Division a couple of years ago. If I remember correctly Andy Smith was in the team. There have been rumours of maybe a Polish Individual Championship meeting being staged there but so far nothing definite...shame really as Warsaw pretty easy trip for British fans!

Well Norwegians ride for Poland in speedway, Slovenijans for Hungary and GB used to have New Zealanders in the national team so don't think your point would make much difference Iris!!

Well done Kauko for a great 4th place in GP Qualifier @ Lonigo!!! Bad luck to Joonas @ Divisov, the meeting probably came a bit too soon after his recovery from injury Anyone know which semi-final Kauko will be flying the Finnish flag in??
