It was Darcy's home track last year, but if I'm correct, hes been loaned out this year to Gdansk...? Did annoy me when Pearson kept shouting about it being his home track when it isnt this season

But KL have sort of lost out anyway? We just get Ipswich back in our league so that we can have a proper local derby, and we're moving up... and our other closest local derbies in P'boro and Coventry arent in the Elite league next year either I just hope its not going to be like when we were in the Elite league last time and that we're watching nearly the same teams everyweek with riders just not turning up for one reason or another. I don't care if I dont see the best in speedway, I'd rather see the up and coming riders who are in the PL for only a few seasons TBH but are more often than not, loyal to their team.

But, if we do go Elite League, and after a year get fed up of being messed around with riders not turning up, not knowing who's in the team etc... Who's to say that we will actually be allowed to drop straight back into the Premier League? Ipswich have wanted to come into this league for a few seasons now, as well as BV and National League teams such as Plymouth wanting to move up... I will support KL in whichever league, but I dont want it to end up like before where we're just propping up the league which is what happened except for 2000 really.

I don't really see Eklof coming back into the Stars team after he sort of dropped us in it this year... Would the management actually trust that it wouldnt happen again?

Even if there was an air fence at KL last night, Franklin's crash occured after where the air fence would have been - very similar place to where Chris Johnson also came off a few years ago.

Probably the same reason why people move around in the EL/PL/NL?

But then Ward would be withholding his services... & isn't it true that KL are his first team so therefore KL's meeting should come first?

I thought tonight was a brilliant meeting, the atmosphere was top notch, mainly due to the amount of poles and their passion. In the end after the final race they were just enjoying themselves, they didn't hurt anyone - they were just celebrating. Speedway is meant to be fun and that's what they were having. I definitely wouldn't say that GB embarrassed themselves, being a realist you knew it would be against Aus and Poland to go directly to the final, but if we don't get the young ones on the scene now, then in a few years we'll be paying for it even more than we are now...
