  1. Welcome aboard tr3mm0r I have added you to the game
  2. The scores used in the league table are the one's on the official SGP website. The I first league table used were taken like other websites I have noticed by following the meeting using the graphics used by Eurosport on Saturday night. The Europsport graphics had incorrect riders (if you go by the official SGP results) listed in various heats. This mainly effected riders from Russia and the Czech Republic. I then updated and amended the league table using ONLY the official scores on the SGP website which must be correct. You have to blame the people who did the TV graphics for getting things wrong, I have only used the correct riders points scored on the night from Eurosport's graphics on the night in the original league table. Sorry for any confusion, but I didn't know about the difference in scores until Sunday morning, after I had published the original league table, after Event 1. i will now only be using the Official SGP website for future riders points in forthcoming events. If the SGP website changes it riders points I will change the riders scored points in the game. At the moment there seems to be 2 different points. the one using the Eurosport graphics and the Official SGP website. I didn't record last night's meeting to check the riders numbers for each heat. I have just emailed the SGP website to whether their results for Event 1 are correct or not. I await their reply.
  3. I did contact the BSPA about it for guidance, but they informed that as Jacques had complained after post number 10 on this posting, they told me that they couldn't help.
  4. Hi Ozrik I have doubles checked the scores from the SGP website, and the graphics that were shown on last night's broadcast were wrong on several occasions I have amended the league table. Many thanks for informing about any incorrect points.
  5. Many thanks racers and royals it has been added to my spreadsheet

I will be recording Event 2 and all other SWC 2015 meetings in case there is a problem again with the meeting rider scores. Hopefuly this will be the end of point-gate All the best to Jarek Dreadful crash for Jarek no rider deserves such bad luck. Sill a long way to go though panthers99
  7. Andy Heyes is definitely the riders correct name. Bell Vue junior. I don;t whether this rider is the Grandstand tape lopping one or not.
  8. All the above have been entered into the competition. Riders are now on track for heat 1. The competition is now closed for entries for Event 1. Any new players can join the game but selecting riders from Event 2 onwards. Thanks to the power of spreadsheets the league table will be updated soon after Event 1 has finished.
  9. All the above entries have been added to the competition
  10. I think that you are right on this matter as I have been looking at old yearbooks and other info. I know that these riders were Belle Vue juniors at the time and would have made ideal reserves for the meeting. I don't have a program for this meeting, but I will update my results. Many thanks for your info I'm sure that the original poster 'compost' would be most grateful for your input. Just noticed that a Andy Heves (not Heyes) rode 3 times for Belle Vue in 1977 so I think that all names are correct now. Just dug out the 1978 Speedway Yearbook on page 70 there's a Andrew Peter (Andy) Heyes it looks like the end of season averages in the Star they still mis-spelt his name as Heves and not Heyes which is correct
  11. Ht 14 I agree with you about Lawson and not Dawson but the star rinted Dawson and I was just copying it from there ht 23 now added pc probs kept crashing now sorted. The star does state Reserves as K.Clark & A. Hayes

  13. You could start your own game. Rule 2 is a good in case a teams changes its line up at a very late stage. For instance if Chris Harris pulled out and then was replaced by Kyle Howarth no-one would get any points for Bomber, but with rule 2 in place Kyle's points would count towards your score. Renat Gafurov is replacing Emil Sayfutdinov in Event 2
  14. I have held a meeting with myself and have decided that rule 2 must stand, as it does also effect me. If this was another sporting organisation say in Switzerland (no name's mentioned) then a bung would be available to you to change things. But this is an honest friendly game.
  15. Its only a bit of fun. If I changed rule 2 it would look like I have changed the rules for my benefit myself, as I did pick originally Ricky Wells, I don't know he's not riding. There's not much difference in their scores in the two riders from last year's SWC. You never know Max might surprise everyone and more points then you would expect. Don't forget there's also the Race-Off and Final meting to come plenty of time to make point up on other players. All the above have been entered into the competition.
  16. Hi Jaques I didn't give any duff info. The teams were correct at the time of listing the game. I did double check the line up on the SGP website before posting. Ricky Wells not riding also effects me also. Its game is only a bit of fun.
  17. All above have been entered into the competition Racers and Royals don't forget to your riders for Event Two before it starts
  18. All above entries have been entered into the competition.
  19. All above entries have been entered into the competition.
  20. Many thanks for letting me know about Max Rumi instead of Ricky Wells. When I checked before I posted Ricky was in the USA team, but I did thonk to myself that sometimes riders do change in the line ups so I added a rule to reflect this. Max Rumi is now confirmed on the SGP website as you said and his points will take the place of where Ricky Wells is listed in my original posting,
  21. Many thanks for entering this fun game. Best of luck to everyone
  22. The SWC is here once again. Time for a fun game with the forum members. The rules are very easy. 1 Just pick two riders from each team who you think will score the most points in each round before 6 pm on the race day. 2 If a rider is replaced in their teams line up then the substitute will score points instead of the planned nominated rider. The winner of the game is the persons gains the mostoints over the course of the 2015 SWC.
