  1. I'm all for it,we need to move on,most other motor sports use the same system. How do they know in advance which gate is the best? How do they know how the track is prepared for a GP compared to qualifying? They don't. Also it could lead to practice/qualifying on live tv,as in most other motor sports.Sometimes as exciting to watch as the actual racing. Speedway is stuck in a time warp, most fans are middle age to elders and want things to stay as they are,I myself am 68 but think this is a good idea,we need to move on. I'd love to see transponders used in league meeting too, when non speedway people ask me how do we time races and I say a bloke with a stop watch they cannot believe that in this day and age. Bring it on.
  2. i suppose that's why Joe Lawlor hasn't signed for the Colts too with Glasgow racing on Fridays.
  3. As soon as the track was returned to how it normally is,not deep with dirt but slick on the inside and grippy outside the racing improved no end.Thought Morris would have learned that from the World Cup race off in 2016.The NSS isn't a track suited to deep dirt.
  4. I meant is the car park on the east side open for permit holders as present.
  5. Yes,was told the car park will still be open, not sure though
  6. The admission prices are so expensive...£40.00 and £35.00 for the granstand,no concessions or child prices either, unless you go to the south stand which is standing only,erm...... most pensioners can't stand that long and the kids can't see unless at the front.
  7. Try living on £154 a week like I have to after working for 48 years.Without concessions no speedway for me.
  8. Thing is could we fit Bjerre in next season?,we got him on a bargain average this year.
  9. Just a thought but has a fuel injection system ever been used in speedway?can't think of any.
  10. Well I for one is interested, there isn't too much information available to fans as to which engine tuner is is being used.I was hoping formula two speedway would connect with the motorcycle crowd but at the recent event at Belle Vue there was no information about which bike had which manufacturers engine installed. Not that it mattered much as they didn't seem reliable.
  11. Who's the Poole fan with the bright orange hair.Met him on the bus to the stadium,he was carrying a large bag and a small rucksack,he told me he was staying overnight in Leicester.Wonder if he got round security at Belle Vue,told him they might not let him in . Hope he did,be a shame to travel all that way and be denied entrance.
  12. Will be really p$$ssed off if he's in the Aussie camp tonight.
  13. The track can handle rain, top notch drainage system has been installed.
