I don't really like that attitude, to hide information from fans until the very last minute. If they know Saturday-Sunday then put out some information after the line ups become public on Sunday evening at 21.00.

It's a pain in the backside for TV commentators too!

It’s more of a pain when the confirmed teams come up around 30 mins before the start don’t mention that it’s R/R for ….. sometimes they do but others not. I don’t think we have had RR yet in Sweden this season which is a welcome change.

SVEMO on the live updates have posted the confirmed line-ups a few minutes ago and have NOT mentioned it’s RR for Fajfer. Very poor on their part !!

Svemo doesn't do the updates; They only provide the platform for it.

Updates are done by volounteers from the hosting club.

For Smederna - Indianerna is that Chugunov is here and also that it's raining.

In that case SVEMO should insist that the referee when he knows  the confirmed teams insists that the volunteer when writing the little piece above the teams ALWAYS indicates that RR is operational.

This is the inly thing that lets the whole thing down- declared teams on Sunday night’s and the updates are excellent.

Same riders as in Poland but not the same enthusiastic crowds or professional presentation. It is good to see these matches and you can see some good races. but alas it is a bit flat in terms of presentation and along with the UK TNT presentation is a long way behind the Poles in terms of being a spectacular event that makes you want to go along to the track week in week out.

It use to be good in the UK with weekly meetings at your local track but no longer.

Perhaps the sport needs a European super league to reinvent itself and make it more appealing to the public at large and then leave it to the lesser nations to run a domestic league on days that suit the local track rather than being forced to run league meetings dictated by external factors.

It is good to see these matches and live TV but it can do little to encourage punters through the gates when the stadia are relatively empty.

Well, in that case I would advise you to email your suggestions to Mikael Karlsson is who is the head of the track racing section at Svemo and/or send an email to Mikael Holmstrand, chairman of the board for Elitspeedway Sverige.

However the referee has no such authority. The only thing that is mandated for the updater is to put the lineups (1-7 for each team) in and then put the scores in during the meeting.

Teams are normally confirmed at 18.00 Swedish time since that is when the team managers, referee and race director has their meeting.

Also see rule 10.1.12 Rapportering av tävlingsresultat.

I have spoken to Mikael Karlsson previously about this very subject. To be fair it was added to the welcome bit before the start- but that isn’t always so and i think the way the scorecard has been created they cannot put 4 RR’s against the riders heats before the races, which i still think is so silly compared to the rest of the system- Also Poland and Denmark do not allow such amateurish happenings.

Swedish league has lost quite allot of attendance after the Corona pandemic and it hasn't really recovered since.
I think Polish fans sometimes are too enthusiastic and passionate.

We used to have above a 3000 people average but in 2019 the average attendance was actually 2417 which is less than 2024 season with 2538 and this years 2476 so I don't really know if we can say that we have lost attendance after the pandemic.
