Swedish League Round 12 Tuesday 29th July Live on TV

Recommended Posts

Format is: top 3 after 20 heats are directly qualified for the final. Riders placed 4-7 will do a run off for a spot in the final.

if several riders ends up with same points run off(s) will take place, but only if affects places 1-7.
If only affects places 8-16 final placing will be decided by counting heat victories, 2nd places and etc.

Se rule 3.2 for more information (too much to translate).

*edit, technically this is racers and royals job, be since he apparently is slacking off somewhere I felt the need to step in to get things done. 🙄 😉😁

They will make an attempt to remove the wet top soil. No start later then 21.00 Swedish time, but at the moment they believe that the track work will be finished before that.

It has rained allot the past day and half, but track looked good at around 15-16.00 Swedish time, but then it rained for about two hours which kinda ruined it.

Has SVT coverage stopped? No 'live' pics at the moment. Will they return?

New date Monday 11th August start time 6pm UK time

This means that the wild card for Målilla will be nominated rather the earned by being best non gp-rider in the Swedish final.
Not sure who they'll pick but probably Thorssell or maybe PHB even if Philip hasn't really had a good season in Elitserien so far this year. Casper Henriksson might be another potential choice.

With Henriksson in the SGP 2 the previous evening that might rule him out.

Interesting in that the discussion on Swedish Facebook groups earlier this morning seemed to suggest otherwise. But it's what we normally do in Britain.

Mikael Karlsson said one thing yesterday but then changed their minds today and announced that the original line up will remain.
