Reading Chris Adams comments on various sites, I feel he's overestimating the ability of his team. However I realise he has to be positive publicly to encourage fans to attend.

I wonder how much he believes vs how much he hopes the team is competitive?

Hard to say, not knowing the chap or having anything much to gauge by, so far.

Without hope there is no point in trying.

Just wondering if anyone in the know, knows if there's been any track work done during the close season?

Also, must be getting close to P/P day

Yes there has been track work done. There is also many volunteers there every Sunday working on fences,  kick boards etc. Maybe you should go down and jointhem and see for yourself?

Not sure what your point is here?

It was just a simple question?

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but you make it sound like I cant have an interest in the Club, unless I'm volunteering/contributing in some way?

In response to my original question? thanks for letting me know about the track!

Pretty sure Pete was just letting you know that you can contribute should you wish, given you had shown an interest.  You should give it a go it's great fun. I used to but haven't been able to this winter due to family problems. I miss it.

Not really trying to make a point. It may have been a little aggressive of an answer to your question, didn't want to just post the word yes.

BIRMINGHAM’S new-look team will take to the Perry Barr track together for the first time on Monday, March 17.

That is the date that has been set for the club’s annual Press and Practice which will be followed by a traditional Meet The Riders’ event later the same night.

The Brummies’ brand new septet of Tobiasz Musielak, Matej Zagar, Michael Jepsen Jensen, Keynan Rew, Annti Vuolas, Jonas Jeppesen and Jason Edwards will take to the track from 1.30pm with the club’s National Development Trophy team members also invited for a spin.

Fans can gain access by making a minimum £2 donation on the gate to the Birmingham Speedway Supporters’ Club – with the same conditions applying for the Meet The Riders event which will get underway at 7.30pm at Aston Manor Cricket Club (doors 7pm).

A reminder that the Brummies’ season officially gets underway when they host the home leg of their Premiership Knockout Cup tie against Leicester on Monday, March 24 (7.30pm).
Season Tickets and Advance 5 tickets remain available with details off how to purchase via: https://birmingham-speedway.com/admission

Why should he be replaced?

He's only staying until the end of April isn't he? Will it be R/R for the rest of the season?

Don't think the Club have confirmed either way ?

Why would they when they are too busy selling season tickets?

So...does this have the makings of a repeat of the "Adam Ellis 2022" situation? OR has Google mis-translated from Polish to English yet again and caused people to read into the situation what isn't there?

Either way...clarification IS needed.

It seems British promoters have little interest in keeping their fans informed when rumours appear, I read about Schlein's retirement on here before Berwick announced it, same with Boughen leaving Oxford, same with Edwards being announced at Redcar in the Speedway Star but not by Redcar. Like you said when Birmingham signed Ellis it wasn't announced as a temp signing.

Looking forward to reading JJ's answer to this, only when I asked the same question on B'hams forum page, he said that it was a ridiculous/stupid question and didn't deserve an answer?

Cue 'JJ' .......

Well, if someone could explain where this rumour started. As far as I can see, it is just something which was invented on this forum as a conspiracy story. I may be wrong, of course, but so can you and all of the others.

As for Adam Ellis a couple of years ago, his was an emergency signing as the Brummies had been unable to find a number 1 as they had been accepted into the Championship very late; Ellis was signed as a temporary rider at the press and practice day. This was explained at the time and everyne knew this. No such announcement has been made about Jeppesen?
