Manifesto
SHEFFIELD: Jack Holder, Anders Rowe, Chris Holder, Justin Sedgmen, Josh Pickering, Lewi Kerr, Leon Flint OXFORD: Rohan Tungate, Erik Riss, Charles Wright, Peter Kildemand, Maciej Janowski, Francis Gusts, Luke Killeen A very different looking lineup for Sheffield compared to the last 2 meetings. Kerr and Sedgmen drafted in makes us stronger at reserve but weaker in the main body. Picko put at number 5 makes sense as he’s been our best rider so far. think Riss and Wright will be the main threat from Oxford they can both ride Owlerton well and could get some points on board. Janowski looked good in parts last season so he could give the Holders a race or two. Tungate is horribly out of form but seems to like Sheffield. 51-39 home win

Bojangles
Has Josh Pickering dropped a point to an opposing rider yet this year? He's started the season on fire. Edit: Just checked and Michael Jepsen Jensen beat him once. Edited April 24 by Bojangles

szkocjasid
From Oxford's socials "We showed resilience with a mid-meeting fightback, but Sheffield closed out the meeting strongly to take the win" They scored one heat advantage all match, does that count as a fightback?

What do you want them to say? 'We were rubbish, don't bother coming to any of our other meetings'? That's probably more accurate, but now how PR works.
InTheDeepStuff
Very much gate and go last night and think scoreline flattered Sheffield a bit, most races all over by exit of turn 2. Good points for Flint although still doesn’t look quick out front, but suppose that’s the more experienced riders know how to shepherd home a younger rider. Decent Tigers (2nd) debut for Kerr only dropping points after a ‘love tap’ on Kildemand. Sheffield’s top 3 did what they needed to with Jack looking fast all night (did he jump in ht15?) As for Oxford surprised Wright didn’t get Ht15 having scored more points that Janowski in less rides, suppose it depends what riders have written into their contracts (example being Musielak for Birmingham at Ipswich !!), Riss, Kildemand and the reserves didn’t really show up so was only a 3 rider fight. Steve Irving
Much better from Tungate. Hopefully for Oxford’s sake he’s over his mechanical issues. If Tungate can get back to last years form then Oxford will be competitive. Edited April 25 by Steve Irving
