Thank you. I unfortunately started all of this by asking, based on the updates, if a reason had been given for selecting the scunthorpe pairing for heat 15. I had hoped for an answer stating that the announcer or team manager had explained, for example, that a rider had aggravated an injury or another had suffered bike problems, etc. All I got back were what I considered to be assumptions or suggestions and you have confirmed that I was correct in thinking this. Hopefully no one did aggravate an injury or suffer expensive machinery problems.

Heat 15 is nominated hence the title …. I think if you are 20 points up going into heat 15 then why risk your best riders 

Your never going to please everyone but its not really any different from a football manager in a world cup group stage pulling off  his best players as soon as the team have got enough points to qualify for the knockout round.

Tbh, I did announce on the evening, the manager chose the riders he did for heat 15 as the meeting was over as a tie, and those two riders got taken out of earlier heats. Scunnys speakers are shocking though, so if it wasn't heard, I do apologise.

Speakers were better than usual where I stand.
