From the latest Cheetah's Chronicle: Another Dane, Marcus Birkemose with paid twelve for Krosno Wolves, provided the most interesting story of the day. Back in 2022 18-year-old Marcus, already regarded as a difficult rider to handle, counted among the hottest prospects in speedway. That all came crashing down when he received a two year ban for smoking marijuana. He made a quiet return last season riding for Gdansk in the Polish third tier (and Slangerup back in Denmark). This year he’s moved to Krosno and has been scoring freely. From what I saw he hasn’t lost his ability to work the track, switching lines in an instant, the sort of rider it is a joy to watch.
